This breaks my heart.

My knowledge of liver is pretty minimal. Can he get the liver removed completely and get a transplant? Or has the cancer metastasize in other places?

Man, this is tragic.

It's metastasized, which means its in his blood, and there could be cancer cells anywhere in his body that are too small to be detected.

I really respect TB, so I have hope for him. My uncle (who is both a recovering alchololic of about 7+ years, and a diabetic) beat Leukemia twice (which is cancer of the blood cells). Once in the 80s, and again in 2008-present. The most recent bout has been in remission for a couple years with only chemo, so I dont think TB's chances are that bad. He even said that the reason the averages are so high is because most people who get it are old.

Ground Zeroes, a $40 game with 1 main mission and 5 side ops. A "prologue" to a $60 game with 50 main missions and 157 side ops.

Really sucks that I barely used quiet during the game (as the horse and dog were more usefull), so I didnt get any of the infamous quiet scenes. I maxed her out at the last minute to get quiets ending, but i missed all of her cutscenes, the shower scene, the water scene, etc.

As a lifelong fanboy of the franchise, this game is ALMOST the best game I have EVER played. The only thing stopping it is The story. Not even the story itself, just the lack of closure from its abrupt and out of nowhere ending, the fact that its clearly missing its 3rd chapter, and the MGS2-tier "twist" at the "end" was such a comedown off of what would have been the greatest high of my gaming life. It literally undid all of the good will accrued over the past 100 hours. Like everbody, I cycled through an amalgamation of all five stages of grief at the "twist" (denial, anger, barganing, depression, acceptence), and a day later after the initial bitterness, I didnt even hate the twist as much as the lack of closure at all of the many plot threads that they set up and then just ignored.

Eli, Sahalanthropus, and baby Mantis, and the fucking nuke a bunch of 12 year olds stole, etc. The third vial of the fucking virus. Hell, the second vial of the virus that Eli has.

There is also things that have been in every trailer for the game since 2013 (including recent near launch trailers) that were not there. What and where the hell was that flaming "whaling ship" that has been prominently shown in every single trailer for the past 2 years as if it was important, but only showed up in ONE cutscene in the entire game (the same cutscene from the trailers) and is never seen, explained or talked about again? The lack of development in Quiet's story. She basically doesnt even matter and I would have loved to see her story explained more. Also, Kaz's whole speech about one of them being a spy and the whole "eyes on kazuhira" thing. obviously the cut mission 51 and 3rd chapter, etc......

Also, the ending. Hey you know all that powerful character development and respect you built up for BB in just the last mission before the ending? JK none of that shit mattered.

That being said, from a gameplay standpoint alone ,this is the best Metal Gear Solid ever made, and possibly the best action game ever made.

So is anybody else following the whole "ruse cruise" theory crowd over at the r/Neverbegameover subreddit, who think that Kojima is trolling everybody, and that what everyone thinks is the ending is not the ending? They're the ones who datamined the PC version of the game and found the title card for Chapter 3: Peace" and some of them (and I do include myself in this) believe that Episode 51: Kingdom of the Flies and Chapter 3: Peace are still in the game, and will be made available at a certain time.

All I see is, Phil is being a good Sportsman from the looks of it. Plus he did congratulated Sony's PS4 launch anyways.

/thread.

When Sony was getting spanked last gen, Sony just buried their head in the sand and ignored the entire world, and it took them at least 3 years (4 if you're counting since its reveal) to stop pretending things were business as usual at HQ. You couldnt've pointed a gun at them and made them acknowledge the PS3's place last gen.

MS owns up to it's mistakes in two months, takes its L like a man. Sony plugs its ears in denial, and pretends its winning.

And I hope you enjoy every penny of Nintendo's money that you're never going to see, while they've had like 4 retail releases this entire year (the dreamcast had over 50 retail games in its final year), has its worst performing and selling console in its history, and hasn't put out a system seller since 2011.

They have completely removed themselves from the conversation (and I really hope they bring themselves back with the NX. That Cartridge rumor sounds awesome.) And ironically, as per Nintendo's own wishes, they have most certainly succeeded in becoming the outlier they wanted themselves to be.

So the shoulder buttons function similar to a mouse scroll wheel?
