An interesting pet idea I've entertained for a while, would be if The Last Of Us was an anthology series, the continuing thread being post apocalyptic and that instead of "Not Zombies", the next game would be about "Not Aliens". But from a human "realistic" perspective, just like Last of Us did.
I've had that thought in the back of my head ever since NaughtyDog consulted with NASA or whatever a year or two ago.
Allow me to speak for most people, and state a massive "**** NO".
I turn it off every single time, except for out of curiosity/novelty (or in spots where the game requires it), and I still turn it off after a few minutes. It almost NEVER works properly, and when it does work, the "effect" is so unimportant that it doesnt make up for cutting half of the game's resolution on a screen/console that is already SORELY outclassed in resolution by most smartphones that came out after 2010.
Holy shit, this game is both FULL PRICE ($60) and a retail release? I thought this shit was a $20 PSN download title ala Everybody's Gone To The Rapture.
Tried Everybody's gone to Rapture tonight at my friend's here upstate. Maybe I didn't have the time or atmosphere to get emotionally into the game as the reviewer kind of seemed to because it was a slow walking simulator to me. Pretty? Yes. But I cant see myself buying it. Maybe when they offer it on Plus.
Same. I was actually hyped for it and followed it since reveal, but alot of reviewers I respect had mixed feelings (jim sterling for one). I've wanted to buy it but $20 for a 5 hour walking simulator I just cant justify pulling the trigger on it. I'll wait til its on PS+.

Lol @ any cow who thinks Gran Turismo has any prayer of being as relevant as even Halo now, still clinging to the sales numbers from over a decade ago.
Buu...buu..buu......teh 15 mil on PS2................the last game barely cracked 3 mil. GT5's huge sales last gen were basically carryover from the last bastion of brand loyalty left from the PS2 era that Sony didnt destroy last gen. There were still plenty of "casuals" (in similar reguard to halo) who hadnt joined last gen yet, who bought PS3s solely for that game. Just look at the indifference its numbered sequel GT6 was met with last gen. You're nuts if you think that is going to happen again.
Also, for anyone who cries that "it came out at the end of the gen, so it doesnt count", Grand Theft Auto V also came out that year.
This is not new, it's been available for a while.
I just bought a new samsung smart tv about amonth ago, and it came preeinstalled with the PSNOW app. (Which I've never used, nor have I used it on my PS4 or PS3)
