Dont see what the point is.

The XL is a sexy piece of hardware (design wise). As for the vanilla 3DS, I could not even imagine trying to use that ridiculous fisher price toy with that goddamned envelope stamp of a screen.

I love my XL,vbut think even its 4.18 inch screen is too small, when im accustomed to my 5.1" Galaxy S5. The design of the XL's look like they were designed for tech savvy adults (purely in aesthetic) who use tablets. The "regulars" look literally like fisher price childrens toys.

yeah but the guy is asking way too much. He wants them to build a super powerful beast that makes no money for them, then somehow woo third party away from ms/sony with marketing deals. He even said he won't be buying the first party games, and he wants ninty to host all the online stuff for free and make it "decent". Just seems like a snobby customer imo.

All customers SHOULD be "snobby", all the time. People keep acting like these billion dollar companies are our friends. THEY AREN'T. They are greedy businessmen that want OUR money. Damn bloody right they need to earn it, we should ALWAYS be demanding more.

well when ninty makes billions on ios im gonna blame you people who shoved them out of the traditional gaming world with the ps4/xbone

i just hope there games still can use a controller

FOH. Nintendo removed THEMSELVES from the conversation. They willfully removed themselves, with absolutely no help from anybody, from the fight.

They wanted to be different. They "Didnt care what the competition was doing". They wanted to be "The Outliers".

They were most certainly successful in their bid to become the outlier this gen.

@ten_pints: keep trying to spin something negative into a game that had 30 games for $30. I'd be getting this even if the games that were on 360 weren't included ;)

/thread.

The PS3 God of War collection, ICO/SOTC and and the Sly Cooper collection used a PS2 software emulator.

This is not the first game (nor even the first GENERATION) that this has happened. Especially with racing games. If you dig back to 2007-8, even on these forums you can see plenty of cows doing the usual "real-life" comparison vids with even GT5 Prologue, and I know, because I was both a cow, and was in those threads back then. Many of those photomode-laden pics are quite convincing.

Same thing with the "Crysis 1 vs real life" pics. Says nothing about the quality of the game, and doesnt change DriveClub from being an awful game.

Flops like TP, SS, TLOU, GT5, and such.

That Arbitor thread.

John_Matherson and his alts.

ShadowMoses900 and many of his threads. Far Cry 3 comparison anyone?

System Wars Awards gone bad.

I'm missing a lot of stuff, but this place can go really mental sometimes.

Oh, man, Matherson and Moses were some real pieces of work. I truly hope they aren't like that outside of the internet.

wow, no one has mentioned loosingENDS or Sniper yet. They definitely made some entertaining threads.

Shadowmoses meltdowns were always classic as well.

Im still half convinced that John Matherson was ShadowMoses. They had a similar posting style.

But dear holy god did Shadow say some stupid shit on here lol.

Good. It was by far the most useless rule on this board.

This. It was instated like 2 or 3 years ago for the sole purpose of thwarting one user who kept spamming with sock accounts. ForzaGearsHalo, aka ProjectNatalFan I think is his original name.

Also, Brofists was another troll who did the same.

Care FAAARRRR more about this game, then about Uncharted 4. To be honest, I *almost* DGAF about Uncharted 4 outside of multiplayer, and my curiosity to see if they evolved it and made it as good as TLOU's multiplayer.

I played hundreds of hours of Uncharted 2, and 3, as well as BOTH of the Uncharted 3 betas. While managed to derive enjoyment out of the Uncharted multiplayers, the Uncharted franchise in general (both MP and beyond) never seemed like it had its own identity. Or rather, that franchise just felt like it had a major identity crisis, and they didnt really know what their own identity was.

TLOU to me, was NaughtyDog coming into their own, "finding themselves" so to speak, gameplay-wise and design-wise. It felt like, from its conception, they had a clear and coherent vision, and the franchise had an identity of its own. That was also what made its multiplayer so great, as opposed to Uncharted's "okay" multiplayer that in ND's own words was just a mishmash of Gears/Halo/CoD shoved into Uncharted's mechanics. It actually bothers me how little people talk about TLOU's multiplayer, when discussing the game.

Thats weird as hell, considering they were rumored to be in talks to buy Nvidia as recently as 2013.

They've also had a buy-out pact with Nvidia for more than the last decade, saying that if anyone attempts to aquire Nvidia for more than $3 billion, Microsoft has the first right of refusal.

MS was really stupid for not showing off Scalebound/ Crackdown 3 at E3 this year. I bet they dont even have gameplay ready thats why they made this terrible line saying * We have so much 1st party titles for E3 that we couldnt fit them in*

They explicitly stated before E3 that both of those games, as well as Quantum Break, will be at Gamescom.

In the case of Quantum Break, the most likely reason for them skipping E3 and waiting for gamescom (as Remedy has done for the 2 previous years E3/Gamescoms) is the fact that they live in the country and its less expensive/time consuming for them to show it there.

Halo 5. End of story.

Every Cow will forget their longstanging loathing for CoD and say Black Ops 3, because Moooo....

As far as Battlefront is concerned, almost every account of people who've played the game was generic and underwhelming. Online-Only Battlefield with Star Wars tacked on......

I enjoy Battlefield, Im playing Hardline as I type this, but yuck at every word in that sentence.
