SWTOR was designed to dethrone WoW, by being WoW in space. I was tempted to play SWTOR, but I'm not only looking for a different setting (space vs. fantasy), I'm looking for a different MMO Style. Right now, GW2, is the only MMO that seems focused to what I want.
I wonder if Bioware will survive the SWTOR storm. I remember when Blizzard and Bioware rivaled each other for the best games in the industry. Back in the Baldur's Gate days, I felt Bioware was winning the battle.
His death has nothing to do with eating/drinking and has everything to do with inactivity. If you sit in the same position for too long you risk cutting off blood supply to some part of your body. Getting up and moving after you cut circulation off for too long will spread the toxins to your heart and kill you. If he would've gotten up and moved for 5 minutes every hour or two he would've been fine and alive today.
Expansions always cost extra, but then they typically doubled the length of the original game and added new features. The minor additions typical of today's DLCs used to be free.

Why does the discussion about pirated copies enter into an article about sales, when you have no foundation for the pirated numbers and you don't take any measures to prevent pirating? I for one, hope this system is a complete failure. Otherwise, PS4 and the Xbox 720 will follow the same model. F2P games, bah! It's a home arcade. They should put a bandit mask on the unit. But it won't fail. Too many of you are suckers for the word "FREE" and you'll pay dearly for it.
Computers have increased the demand for paper three or four-fold. Actually, investing in a paper company in the late 70s or early 80s would have been a good investment.

So what are you going to do for the next console generation (sigh)?
Me: Well I think it’s obvious. Console makers Sony and Microsoft have to embrace the PINK, in order have a successful new console generation.
Gamespot: (You seriously want me to continue wasting my time interviewing this guy?). Okay, what do you mean by “Embrace the PINK.”
Me: The color of the new consoles should only be available in the color PINK for the first 2-3 years of release. Girls are strangely attracted to the color PINK, so anything you make in PINK or with PINK packaging will spur their natural impulse to buy it, even if they don’t know or understand what it is they are buying. The PINK color will boost console sales through the roof, because let’s face it guys will buy the latest and greatest thing no matter what the color. Look at Call of Duty, they change a few weapons colors, a few automobile styles on a map pack and boom you add the next number the COD serious and it’s an instant hit. After several years on the market Sony/MS can offer a new color and every guy will replace their existing PINK console for a new color, doubling your sales for that generation.
But you can’t forget to look on the bright side for men in this color scheme is well. Now more girls will actually be playing games and probably games men play with the PINK consoles. Guys can then actually work on real social interactions with the opposite sex, without pretending to be lesbians hitting on each out in the game world.

GAMESPOT: So Mr. Idiotic Cheapskate Gamer, what do you have to say about the future of game consoles this week (sigh)?
ME: All future consoles need to include procreation instructions so that gamers can learn how to physically interact with the world around them. Otherwise, everyone is going to be playing games and not making babies. Without babies nobody is going to be around to play games in a generation or two. Without gamers who are these developers gonna make insane DRM clauses with average games for?
Further, I think all games should include a 5 minute intro detailing what is and what is not sexual harassment.
