Off-screen shots are not credible.

Its not debating how good the textures look, its just showing that its not a flat green surface anymore, it actually looks flawed, like a track should.

Graphics are important to me because they really add to the overall experience of the game. Bad graphics can make even the best game seem terrible.

Personally i just like nice smooth and clean looking games with a good color pallette. Games like killzone 2 and call of duty look good, but i just am not as impressed with them because of how gritty and dirty they are. Its very immersive, but i would take games graphics like uncharted, and half lifes over KZ2 and cod anyday.

There are alot of indie games out there that i think look outstand just because of how clean they look. Defcon, pixeljunk shooter, eufloria, world of goo, and many other games have artstyles and graphics that add a ton to the game. If Defcon didnt have its neon colors and smooth lines it would be a very dull looking game, but since they made everything pop, it adds to the game. I guess im going more into artstyles then graphics, but its still in the same ballpark.

Yeah thats why it got AAA right?;) cuz of its graphics?

The online is not as good as Halo 3 (the community speaks for it self) and the campaign was forgettable

I would take halos multiplayer over KZ2's in an instant, but campaign? The only good part about halos campaign is the coop, besides that it is more forgetable then KZ's.

It is a great, relaxing game. I have it for PSP, but not for ps3, so ill give it a download. You can beat it in 20 mins if you avoid every enemy and just decend through ocean, but that literally defeats the purpose of playing.

So everyone else has said it, but it needs to be said again. This game looks outrageous, it defines epic. Sucks for me because i am taking a trip to new york the day after the game comes out, so i will be playing it a week late.

Thats funny, it almost sounds like your trying to say darksiders is a bad game. I would believe you are being sincere, but after playing darksiders i dont know how someone could think that.

Everytime he announces a game is just makes me sigh. Developers are suppose to love their work, but this guy has his head so far up his games arse that he believes they are the best thing since sliced bread. I hope it works out because ive always liked the concept of the fable games, but they never turn out right.

This game looks fugly, dont know how anyone is saying other wise. What we should be talking about is how damn fun this game looks. I love the outrageous over the top gameplay, it should be a great game.

It seems that every other day we get news of another studio closing its doors of cutting its workforce. It kind of makes me feel sorry for those people who are now choosing to try to get into game development.jalexbrown
The studios that are closing usually are never ones that put out any outstanding games. Prototype was good, but very sloppy.

Yeah none of those matter compared to Killzone 2's shotgun. It does nothing special, but the shooting animation, reload animation, the lighting effects from the underbarrel flashlight, the way enemies react when being shot from it, and the overall feeling of the gun easily make it my favorite shotgun of all time. Never has a game made a shotgun feel like a shotgun.
