@the_hunger I'm sure you personally know this for a fact, because you have personal relations with Orth. Heir said in his tweets that he wasn's being serious, but feel free to think that.
@ck10304 You're missing the point. He wasn't being serious. He was joking with someone he knew ( the senor game designer for Bioware ) The reality is he was kidding, it was tongue in cheek.

From what I gather after doing some research, the twitter comments were actually a conversation between Orth and Manveer Heir. From what I can tell, Orth was not intending his comments to be public and were part of a dialogue him and Heir were having between themselves and they were just busting each others balls.
It even states in the Gamespot article that he later apologized for these statements. I don't believe that he literally meant what he said and they weren't intending for public consumption.
I suppose the internet doesn't care though. None of that really matters, I guess. Based on the comments I've been reading on this article, people are ready to tar and feather this man.
It makes sense that all units released currently to devs and whoever else would require an internet connetion, but it is sincerely doubtful that a final release version would require this.
They have to realize that this would be a horrible idea...right?

The only reason they would have changed the actor is because of money...Maybe he was asking for too much or perhaps Konami just wanted to pay less. They've been using his voice for the character for years(and years)The new character sounds like him, so to say anything else other than money is a cop out.
