So a group of developers that came from 3 of the most successful studios over the last couple years bonded together to form another studio.
I try not to read into things but to me that seems like a bunch of self-important assholes got together because they felt they weren't getting the acknowledgement they felt they deserved. Now that they head a studio they can share the spotlight as the most amazing developers ever.
Problem is, being so self-important also carries with it a limited capacity for risk and the unknown. Either everyone is going to have to agree on what is being created or the project will begin to drag and nothing will get done.
I could totally be wrong but the way I see it, if a developer leaves a very successful studio, they either don't work well with others or feel they can deliver a more successful product.
I know this comment is probably going to get a lot of hate but remember, this is just my opinion and this is how I feel.
@titang1: those comparisons might have been from a wii u presentation half-year ago and a switch presentation done not too long ago. if it is the same comparison video i'm thinking of.
