Yo G Spotters. Welcome to my list of predictions for Nintendo at this year's E3. Some of these might be something that has been in your head as well, or it could be a complete surprise. Now these will be a mixture of things that might actually be announced and things that I hope will be announced.

Likely announcement #1: New DS model

I think this is way more than possible. The original DS was launched in late 2004 while the Lite model was launched in mid 2006. So it's very likely that we will get some word on another version, or hopefully, a completely new handheld altogether. I think it really is about time we get our Nintendo DS 2, with better graphics and more features. It would use a new card, but would be able to play original DS games as well. Not to mention this sucker is probably going to be tiny as hell. Only time will tell what our next Nintendo handheld will be like!

Hopeful announcement #1: New Zelda Wii game

Twilight Princess was a great game. A REALLY great game. But it was no Wii game. It was a Gamecube port with waggle control. So what we need now is a Zelda title built from the ground up for the Wii. Whether it be a toon shaded ****like Wind Waker or a realistic setting like Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess, I really want a new console Zelda to be announced soon!! The chances of this happen at E3 this year are actually pretty good though. Think back to E3 2004. Twillight Princess was announced and it had only been a year since Wind Waker came out! And we are already a year and a half past the TP launch, so the chances of a first look at a new Zelda seem pretty good! At least I hope...

Saw The Incredible Hulk last night: loved it. Finally! The Hulk gets justice in a live action movie! Edward Norton did a brilliant performance as did Liv Tyler, William Hurt, and especially Tim Roth (The Abomination). If you saw the 2003 movie and hated it like me, go to this and you will forget all about it. What a breath of fresh air! The movie had great action, great lead actors, and some very nice CGI. Action fans, go see this. Now.

Long story short: I walked into Wal-Mart, saw the game in the bargain bin, and bought it. I've always been interested in the game, mainly because of the stellar reviews, but I never got around to purchasing it. When I saw it so cheap, I just had to get it :).

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is no doubt my favorite movie of 2008 so far, beating out Iron Man. What a great trip back to classic cinema!! Why can't more adventure movies like this come out any more!?

If you haven't seen it or have yet to see it and you enjoy movies in general... get your butt to the theater and check out the latest Indy flick!

I'm thinking this might be the point where I want to buy a 360 or PS3.

Well, the much-anticipated GTA IV is being released in mere days. IGN.com has given it a perfect score.. the first in almost a decade! They also state that it is the best game since 1998's Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I hate to say it, but the PS3 looks like it's about to beat down the Wii with a bat.

Now, I don't personally like the PS3, but GTA is a fine series of games, so it's expected that GTA IV is looking to recieve critical acclaim. So what's GTA IV's only competition next week!? Mario Kart Wii, which is being called a step back for the series after the excellent Mario Kart DS. Ouch.

Nintendo better start getting more serious at this point. Zelda, Metroid, Mario, and Smash Bros. have all been launched (and are all fantastic), but it looks like Mario Kart Wii is the last top notch Wii game in some time. It's going to be one hell of a console battle this summer..

.. between Wii and PS3 at least. In my opinion, the Xbox 360 is having, and probably will have, a weak 2008. 360 had all of it's big guns released last year, and now it's pooting out dust, except of course for GTA IV, which leads back to my point. GTA IV is going to be one huge blow to the Wii. Can Nintendo whip out some good stuff soon!? We've already seen the excellent Smash Bros. Brawl, Okami, and No More Heroes so far this year, but how will Nintendo battle the second half of the year come this summer?

Will Nintendo win the battle against GTA IV?

This is not a joke. I repeat NOT A JOKE. Look at my last couple of blog posts and you will see that I've posted about two previous snow days. This is the third snow day for my school this month. IT'S FREAKING APRIL!!! WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?

I seriously just can't believe it. We have had the strangest weather this month. It was 75 degrees and sunny on Wednesday and now it's in the 20s and it's a blizzard!!!!! The apocalypse is upon us, I swear.

Hey, is there anyone who has played the original PS2 Okami? I'd like to know how the game is. The Wii version has been getting great reviews and it looks very interesting. Should I buy it? Because I love Zelda and Okami is apparently very similar.

Not even kidding. We got a heavy ice/snow storm overnight and school has been cancelled again. I think this is the first time that school has been cancelled in April in my school district. Quite strange.

Also, I've change my theme profile theme to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I can't wait for the game (which is FIVE months away!) and Star Wars has always been one of my single favorite movie/game franchises.

Yup, it's March 31st and we've got snow and ice, our first snowday of the school year. I think I'll be playing some Brawl and Zelda: Wind Waker today ;)
