I'd imagine it'd play similar to Tabula Rasa and would be okay if they could make it fun and not so buggy

I don't think it's TOR that's failing, per se, I think it's the subscription based MMOs that are failing. A lot of people are tired of paying monthly subs for bi-monthly or quarterly updates. It's a waste of money and you get nothing out of it that you can't get from free games that never update. WoW isn't immune to this attitude either, it's lost something like 3 million subs over the past couple years... if any other MMO had taken that hit they'd be shut down.

WoW is still largely subscribed to now though because A) it's the 'old favorite' with the stable community, B) it's an established, and popular, e-sport and C) it's simple and easily appeals to the masses.

C&C generals was one of my top 5 favorite RTS games, it's well behind age of mythology and civilization 4, but it's still up there. Hope they make it a good sequel.

Even if SW:TOR takes a chunk out of WoW people will still go back to WoW when the next expansion comes out. Even if they say they can't stand the game now they will still buy the expansion and go back like a junkie to their dealer. WoW is on the decline though. 12 million subs is a long distant memory that will never be reached again. It'll still have more subs than any other MMO though.

I'm having issues as well. If I read one topic then go back to the thread list and try to open another topic it'll only re-open the thread I just left. And another issue is when I hit quick reply it'll open the quick reply box, but when I hit submit it goes to the long reply screen, quotes the person I was quick replying to, and deletes what I was trying to post.

It is just a WoW clone though, the only difference is the voice acting.

It has a poor interface and finding groups to do anything with is frustrating to say the least (and not due to the beta population, it's solely because of the interface and chat system).

Now, I do still like the game.... but ONLY in terms of the single player questing experience. The group content is both boring and, as previously mentioned, annoying to even innitiate. It is not worth 15 dollars a month as it currently stands.

I don't think you can use MW3 and "something new" in the same sentence

I bought it today, it's not bad, but it's not great. Some of the maps are just horrible... metro, for one, has to be one of the worst maps ever designed.

It looks amazing, and I'm sure it'll play fine, but it's still a rail shooter that will have no replay value. That may not bother you, but I have a serious problem with paying 50-60 bucks for a game that I'll only ever really want to play through once.
