Only bads would buy weapons or whatever that have slightly better stats. You can dominate games with the starter weapons if you're halfway decent, so buying DLC weapons would just be stupid.

Maybe UT2k4 in Invasion mode on a custom server, there were times where there were hundreds of creatures on the screen and missiles flying everywhere. It was even better once we replaced all of their generic projectiles with mini redeemers.

So in a little over half a year later from that post the game has gone from being 20gb to being over 40gb and there's still another 15gb or so to get put in. I'd say that the game is going to be pretty epic, if not just for the story alone.

I just got my $9.99 one off Amazon (used). It's amazing. I'd definitely grab one.

Who cares. It wouldn't have steamworks support anyways, and once you install it you'd only have to use a desktop icon to launch it. It's not like you'd need to stay connected to EA's service 24/7. Hell, you could add it to steam anyways if you wanted it there.

BF3. Reason: JETS, with proper tools to take them down.

None of those stupid harrier or whatever the crap kill streeks from CoD that require you to kill your spec to take them out or hide from them.

Granted I only probably put in about 80 hours into BO, but I never remember seeing a noticeable hacker. Unlike in MW2 where I couldn't go 2 games without seeing some dude flying through the air killing everyone through half a dozen walls.

Anyone else on the fence about getting Brink for PC? The controls look really awkward for Kb/M what with the constant sprinting and radial dial stuff. Not to mention PC online communities have been less than stable in recent years, games come out and then fizzle and die in 2 months.

On the other side of the fence though I've heard that the console versions have aim assist, and that just makes the entire game nearly pointless.... I really don't know what I should do. Get it on PC and hope there's a big enough community for it to last a while, or get it on the 360 and deal with the lame auto aim... Not very great choices :/
