Trauma Center and Wii Sports come to mind.

Also, while I can still play FPS games on other consoles, after going through Metroid Prime 3 and MOHH2, I really don't like to play FPS games with analog sticks anymore. The Wiimote is so much more accurate, even beating out mouse control imo. That's why one of my most anticipated games is The Conduit.

The worst one I've played is Call of Duty 3; nothing memorable or standout-ish about it, not even an attempt at multiplayer, and my version had glitches so I eventually sold it. The worst one I've heard about is Far Cry Vengeance. Never played it, but eveything I've ever heard about the game is negative.

Red Steel isn't a bad game, but one that is just simply average and has a rushed feel to it. If Ubisoft didn't try to make it a launch game and gave it at least 6 more months, I think it would have turned out better.

To everyone saying it could never possibly happen: read this!

It seems like this is about the 5th time I've offered that link on the forums. Anything is possible. Would the game look as good as it would on a $5,000 decked out PC? Of course not, but how many of us actually have those setups? Frankly, I'd like it on the Wii...it would be on a system I own, it would be optimized so it would not only look good but run well, and the Wiimote is the best way to play an FPS outside of the keyboard and mouse.

Portal would seem to fit perfectly for the Wii. In fact, bring over the entirety of The Orange Box while your at it. Half-Life 2 is one of the best FPS games of all time, and using the Wii controls would make it even better.

I love Diablo-like hack n' slash games, so I'd love to see something like Mythos or Fate on the Wii as well.

Always played way more Resident Evil than Slient Hill, so I've got to go with the RE series. I will say that the Silent Hill games are way more creepy, so they nail the "horror" in the Survial/Horror genre a lot better!

It would be nice if some franchise, either MOH or COD, actually stick with a setting outside of WWII. Call of Duty 5 is supposed to go back to the WWII setting, AND it's being made by Treyarch again, so it sucks that we're going to have another crappy war game coming out soon.

I think it would be too cheesy for a major motion picture, but I'd check it out if it aired on TV. Maybe if it came out on the Sci-Fi channel, I'd watch. But yeah; nothing but an April's Fool joke.

i found it to be fun when i was actually playing the game but everything in between such as getting money for fights and going from place to place really sucked especially that bare "open world" that was devoid of any interaction at all without good graphics and no place that called out to be explored really sucked.

Serraph105

My main complaint with the open world was the Free Missions; I just wish they the objectives were varied. The best part of the game was the combat, and I didn't like the "one hit and your dead" element to it. Sure, it was challenging, but I just wanted a place where I could fight to my heart's content, and not worrying about whether one hit will stop the action.

I also wish there was just more to the town. Maybe making it larger and giving the player more to do would have made it more sandboxy. It was still wasn't bad, with the character customization, card search, and light RPG elements, but it could have been better.

Mass Effect is coming out to PC, and Gears of War already has a PC port. Saints Row and Crackdown seem alright. No interest in Forza or Halo 3 (got tired of the series after Halo 2). Some nice Wii titles: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Metroid Prime 3, Legend of Zelda: TP, Super Paper Mario, Zack and Wiki, just to name some. So yeah, personally I'd rather have a Wii than a 360 right now

Now, ask me if I'd want a 360 after Ninja Gaiden 2 comes out, I'll answer an emphatic "yes!"

the_leet_kid

Since when does a PC game = a wii game? Zelda's on the gamecube, that doesn't mean it's on the 360...

The user I was replying to made a statement listing some entries from the 360's library with the regards that they sound a lot better than what the Wii offers, and my reply was listing some popular games for the Wii. The point I was making was that I can either go elsewhere if I want a few of the games he listed, and others I'm not even interested in, so I don't really want a 360, at least not now. The 360's library of games don't appeal to me, is what I'm trying to say; I prefere the Wii's.

Your reply was off topic to begin with, but my point was that he compared the two systems. You can't say a good 360 game doesn't help it against the wii's library just because it's on another platform as well. It's not on the wii, which supports his point that he would choose it over the wii. Just like you can't say Zelda isn't an advantage of the wii's over the 360's because a 360 owner could play it on a gamecube, that doesn't make sense in the context of the two systems.

Ok, point taken about Zelda; in retrospect, that was a bad analogy as it's both on the Wii and the Gamecube, so it's not exclusive to one console. But that's the same thing with games like Mass Effect and Gears of War: he typed them as games that 360 owners are privilaged to have, but they've both gone multiplatform, so I don't need a 360 to enjoy them. The way I read that user's post, and I could be wrong, is that he was trying to say that the 360's lineup is better than the Wii's because of the games that he listed. So I named some Wii games as an argument, in the same vein. That was my point: I don't need a 360 to enjoy the complete "360 lineup".

Also, if you want to discuss this further, PM me. These replies (specifically this topic) has already been warned by a mod...starting to become too System Warish.
