@Damnation_6 @KimCheeWarriorX @Catz_03 You are correct: the UE is very user-friendly. It's much more accessible than a lot of other engines. And indie developers only have to shell out if they hit a certain revenue. There are reasons why it's so popular.
@mouse314 Judging by the demo, Ryse is nothing but a button smasher. The QTE's are responsible for the only finesse the game possesses. "QTE-fest" isn't far off the mark.
@texasgoldrush @Spotted_Pelt Normally I'd agree with you in regards to Saren/TIM. I love how the endings mirror each other in that way (and only that way).
But I'll tell you what it ACTUALLY recycles: the Deus Ex: Human Revolution endings.
How about some lovely quotes, made literally weeks before ME3's launch:
"We want the outcomes to be satisfying to the player. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’re all going to be happy or positive. It’s going to make some people extremely happy. It’s going to make some people angry. But that’s part of it, right? To invoke the emotion putting some of these stories to bed will naturally bring up. I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the way we’ve done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you’ve made will impact how things go. The player’s also the architect of what happens.” "There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets? They were LYING and they knew it.
And let's not forget about that heartfelt message upon completing the game: "That's it, now buy DLC."

Casey Hudson and Mac Walters were single-handedly responsible for pushing this horrible 'ending' through in the first place. Do they honestly think people have forgotten that? The entire writing team (minus those two) was locked out of the ending discussion and didn't even get the chance to contribute.
Then BioWare treated the upset fans like trash and finally caved with the Extended Cut DLC, which didn't retcon the nonsensical final sequence (it doesn't deserve to even be called an ending), but simply tacked on a few "you wouldn't know them"s and "you wouldn't understand"s. That doesn't count as 'answering questions' in ANY universe.
If BioWare doesn't care about their projects than neither do I.
