I hope not. I still buy discs. Some games I've had to beat, or at least play through a great deal before I realized that I didn't want to keep it. The demo alone, if it even had one, wasn't enough.
Yeah right, and Israel and Palestine will come to peace. The total sales of PS3, 360 and Wii combined doesn't equal anything near that. Eventually console sales may be that high due to growth in video game fan-base and increase in world population, but it's not going to be as soon as next console generation.
Bull! People play games based on concepts they are already interested in. If a person is bored with a particular game, they will stop playing it shortly thereafter, disabling the chance of that game influencing them. Gamers were interested in war long before they started playing Call of Duty. On the contrary, their preexisting interest in war is why they started playing games like that.
