Thief 4

New Deus Ex

None of them will dominate. True winners are people who wont install any mmorpg because it's like smoking... very addicting.

Unfortunately for you I wouldn't buy anything else than xbox 360 controller because newest games only support microsoft product. You can play Blur, Split Second and lot of other games only on xbox pad. There's a solution to emulate xbox controller but it's complicated and never 100% compatible. Despite medium quality of dpad I would still buy xbox pad because analog sticks are great(very accurate) and you won't have any problems to play new games.

The Witcher is one of the best RPG I've ever played. Developers are from Poland like me and it has great voice acting in polish :) I didn't hear english so I don't know how good or bad it is. Real game begins in Act II. Act I isn't very good. Overall Witcher has amazing story, great mature atmosphere, absorbing quests and epic dialog text. Unfortunately it has some flaws like, boring first act, limited character creation(you cannot change design, you cant play as frozen mage or sth like that). I have to mention about limited world too. It's not as open like Oblivion or Gothic 1/2/3. Although it's more like a book than a game so if you will treat this game like reading a book then you will enjoy Witcher very much :-)

[QUOTE="dannyw7982"]

I love my rts game my fave being supcom, the main thing that puts me off starcraft is the entire click thing. I know there is probably more to it but all iever hear is apm this and apm that. I prefer an rts where i have to think strategy and tactics and the winner is not merely the person with the highest apm. I may be wrong and there may be more to it than that but thats how it come across so i assumeits not my cup of tea.

SpaceMoose
Eh, that's just for the high-end pros mostly. :P (Also, in some of the Warcraft III replays I've watched the pros seem to like to do a lot of clicking around at the beginning, which almost seems like they are deliberately trying to inflate their ATM for some stupid reason. For example, I'll see them set their rally point for a building repeatedly. Perhaps equally likely is that I'm just not good enough to understand why the hell they do some of the things they do. :P )

There's alot tactics and strategy to think but you need to handle mouse clicking on the high level. If you can get APM around 170 in SC1 then you are ready for thinking about tactics and strategy :-) Of course there are some players with 100-140 APM who has amazing skills but they are in minority. SpaceMoose -> At the beginning they are clicking alot because they must keep the rhythm. It's like a warm-up. ------------ Blizzard games have some magic inside them. Starcraft is decisively best RTS multiplayer in history of gaming. It's dynamic, deep, BALANCED almost perfectly. There's no RTS in the market which is balanced so good with so different races like Protoss, Zerg, Terran.

Really You shouldnt post this because even if hundreds of EA workers will read it... they dont care. C&C serie evolved into something like NFS, EA sports games, Sims, ....

They dont care. Only mass producing every year, especially on pc. Perfect marketing will bring them profit so why should they care about true gamer opinion ? They dont care, THEY DONT CARE!

At the beginning I had no choice. My dad bought a computer. I was very young 4-5 years old. First game I have played was old Prince of Persia. I tried lot of pc games running on old system DOS but all of them was piece of crap for me :) My dream was...console platform. When I grew up a little I finally got4 games that changed my entire gaming history: Quake, Red Alert, Warcraft 2 and Rayman 2. That titles helped me forget about consoles :) The best times of my gaming history was after my father connected my PC to internet :) Times of Starcraft and Quake 2. Now Im 23 years old. I can choose between gaming platforms and finally stay with PC. PC games offer more complicated challenge than console games. I love strategies, simulations and massive multiplayer games. Thats why Im a PC Gamer.
