This stuff pops up every now and then but usually ends up being fruitless for us consumers. This time around, I just got a gaming grade laptop, and it's completely portable.

Looks awesome. If I get a PS3 again, I'll definetly pick it up. The first person cover system is really cool as well. It's funny though, the original Killzone was being developed for PC as well as the consoles, but then SCEA got Guerilla to make it a Sony exclusive. Makes me wonder at the potential of what might have been considering Killzone is a great idea/concept, it just happens to be limited by the hardware. But yeah, I'm honestly excited for Killzone 2. Looks to play like Call of Duty except more tactical and futuristic.

Considering consoles are becoming more and more like PCs, so therefore PC gaming technically can't die. And not everyone is going to put up with a closed, un-upgradeable system.

But there are plenty of console playing nubs who get the idea of playing it on their mainstream bought HP if they either didn't have a 360 or thought they were going to actually get better graphics due to their lack of PC specs/requirements knowledge.

Today, I bought my first Intel based computer since 2005, however when I build another desktop, I think I'll definetly go AMD like I usually have! Go AMD, keep competition alive!

I'm sure it's in the works, but this time around for their sake, they should make it XP and Vista capable. Perhaps Vista only could work now that Vista is on so many computers, but allowing both OSs to run it would be in MS's best interest.

Xbox Live is an excellently set up distribution and online gaming system. Easy to use, friendly as well. PSN isn't too far off now that the PS Store isn't so clunky. Each system has it's ups and downs. While I like Live's integration with the rest of the system's functions on the 360, I do also like the seperation provided by the PSN and the PS3 itself. They are two parts, not a single unity.

Xbox has some nice features for streamlining the graphics development process, most notibly it's use of Direct X. Plus the NV2A GPU for the Xbox had alot of built in features like self-shadowing, normal and bump maps which are things more difficult to pull off on the Wii and even harder on the old PS2. Using what we know currently, the Wii really is about the same in capability as the Xbox in terms of pixel fillrates, but the Xbox had twice the texture fill and could do 120,000,000 raw triangles per second. The Wii's big advantage is larger pool of RAM (88 MB versus 64) and it's better CPU.
