I'm all over RPG's. I think the FPS genre is getting tired. Bioshock is probably the first one I'll REALLY like in a long time. Bring on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey!subject117

yeah the fps/rpg hybrids seem really cool i just wish bioshock wasn't a horror game it doesn't appeal to me but the plasmids+guns is really cool

That list ALMOST compares to Halo 3 and Mass Effect!

how about we actually compare games coming out this year for the PS3to mass effect and halo3 so you know maybe make it fair? please take LBP, GOW 3, Socom 4, MGS4, GT 5 off the list so your comparison isn't biased and please add Ace Combat Six, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, PGR4 to your 360 list since we aren't even talking about premier games(i am sorry but liar vs mass effect?)

Wake up man!!!! it is bad

I am not saying the game can not be salvaged but almost everything we have see or heard about this game is negative. The premisee seems great but Dennis Dyack is making the classic mistake of trying to cram everything into one game. it's an action adventure!!! it's an MMO!! it's a shooter!!! it's ****ing ridiculous is what it is.

When the game gives me anything that is even remotely exciting i'll sit up and take notice. Until theni it is nothing but overambitious trash that does not even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as a AAA franchise like Metroid.

if thats how you feel fine but i think it deserves a chance and should be taken seriously i mean Silicon Knights are good devs, i do agree its wrong to think it will be the next metroid and heck it doesn't even need to be AAA(although i want it to be) it just needs to be good and hopefully it will be a good franchise, anyway the action elements, and the classes seem really cool and i like the story personally

Well i was going off the horrendous showing it got at last years E3, the laughable trailer, the numerous development problems, the fact that it has been in development for about 10 years, the obvious downgrade in the latest batch of screenshots, the molyneeux-esque rhetoric spewed by dennis dyack and the fact that a title which is supposed to be "the first part of a trilogy" isn't being released until at least 3 years into the 360's lifecycle.

i am shocked no shocked that such a thing could happen /sarcasm its like saying the sun will come up the next day of course it will come out for the PC but notice that Halo 1 and 2 came to the PC about two years later so its gonna take 2 years not 3-4 months

and personally i think its too good of a game to pass up for that long but whatever its your life people if you want to wait go ahead and miss out on one of the biggest games this year.

good for ps3 owners but here is a tip, lets not hype this as a halo killer because its gonna be a repeat of killzone 1 all over again and though i am lemming i dont want this board to descend into ownage and damage control for days just hype as a good shooter nothing else please for sake of sane people here at system wars.
