What's the film gonna be about? A dude driving round different tracks for an hour an a half? As far as I know GT has no story.
Bah, they should use the money wasted on the film to get an open world GT on PS4 rather than trying to milk gamers with this shit as Drive Club ain't doing it for me.
I don't think the core gamer market was worth there while for to long tbh.
As a company it would be silly to sit back when a technically inferior product (wii) sells like hot cakes. There must have been something in the motion control lark to shift that many units. MS obviously figured "why can we not target that audience as well?"
Now they are targeting an even broader audience and they are struggling to keep their initial customers interested because of this.
Everyone jumped down MS throat regarding DRM, blaming them for taking away customer rights, while Sony stayed firmly in the "oh, lets wait and see" camp. But this article proves that it was devs pushing for this and MS simply said "sure, why should the devs not see more income".
It would have been interesting if MS stayed with DRM to see how many smaller developers would have immediately jumped ship to XBO for profits alone.
My limited understanding of how they accomplish this in the first place is that when you are downloading or installing a game, it copies the assets across that are important for starting the game up. Title screen, menu, first lvl, second lvl etcAfter so much of the game has been downloaded the console will inform the user the game is ready to be played. It will be interesting to see how people break it...
