Shirking my -non- responsibilities

Haven't had the will or time to post here lately, partially due to the fact that I have -6- Ds games that I haven't played, 1 psp game, 3 gamecube games, because of 2 things:

1. Monster Hunter F2 - 140 hours in....can't tear myself away (except for MH3)

2. I just borrowed a friends 360: took me 10 minutes to figure out how to sync the controller, then I continued by playing 3 hours of Tales of Vesperia ( which I also borrowed ). Amazing, and not just the graphics.

Tales of Symphonia 2 November!!! I think....

Gone for 3 weeks

I'll be gone for 3 weeks. Colorado Rockies, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, etc. The great outdoors. I just got MHF2 for the plane ride, and I cant find Mario and Luigi: PiT anywhere. It turns out I didn't miss out on much E3 action. And, who else is pumped for the Olympics? What other giant event is there where any country can express their nationalism so freely? Itsa great

Quick Recap

Ugh, it's been a while. Playing FFTA2, beat Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Guitar Hero DS ( still prefer GH3). And I still have some left over to buy TWEWY and ....whatever else there is ( Okami maybe, Monster Hunter 2, etc.) What really sucks is that I'll be gone for 2 weeks vacation this month; that means no E3, I'll be missing out on everything ( Animal Crossing for the Wii!). Maybe I'll find refuge in some library along the way. Who knows?

Schools over ( for the summer)

No more Finals until next year. I spent the whole day playing Professor Layton; just beat it. Amazing little gem of a game. Too bad it has Zero replayability ( except for the downloadable puzzles) I've got too many games to count to finish ( I gotta finish Zack and WIki someday) I should probably stop getting new ones.

the only thing I've got scheduled is 3 weeks in Colorado. Half my relatives live there ( literally) and its ironic that I live in way over on the east coast. I'd rather live there though. Theres so much more to do. In connecticut, all there is is Yale and the Beach. And cold weather.

Boston!

Eh, not so great. I live about an hour and a half away. Spent the day walking around, eating, etc. Went to Quincey Market, Boston gardens, freedom Trail, yada yada. The Subways are better than New Yorks, but thats not saying much. The most exciting place? The Harvard Coop. Not that college, but the store next to it. Just sat down and read the new shonen jump. Harvard wasn't so great, wouldn't even let me into the museum without a Harvard ID. Just a bunch of brick buildings.

I also saw the new Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the crystal skull. Pretty good movie actually. Definitely a solid 4/5 stars. The only problem was the unbelievability of half the stuff that happens. But don't focus on that if you want a good time

Vale!

A really good idea(?)

New plot for a videogame: Here it goes. Take it or leave it

Setting: Futuristic society, Earth colonies in space ( think Gundam, but maybe a mix of IGPX), pro WWIV or some other major event (like global warming) so a lot of people are dead. Countries run by military

Characters: Army defects, not carrying any secret documents or information or anything like that, just general dislike of "Government," tired of all the killing. Could probably use a backstory on some traumatic experience ( like seeing dead innocents or family or something like that)

Plot: New threat; Not sure what to call them, but something(s) that can move too fast for the human eye to see. When they begin killing people ( I'll make up a reason later), no idea whats going on, maybe religious sects start blaming god, punishment=riots against killings, etc. maybe. Videos sped up to find source. Military scientists find out:

They want to build suits that can match up to speed ( like gundams except smaller? no copyright plz) Soldiers to pilot suits. Need test subjects...super fast action seems good to me.

I really think I should stop there. Its harder to think that I thought.

Really I think I've watched too much gundam and Ghost in the shell, or something, but it seems new (maybe not original) but I really only care about plots in a game. It probably wouldn't be an RPG, but maybe an action (like GoW) or an FPS.

No More Heroes 2

Well, not really, but its similar in the sense that theres a comical amount of violence

And by clover studios too. Its like a personal "F**k you" to Capcom (for kicking them out I mean) cause this game looks great.

Also, Order of Ecclesia - New Castlevania for DS. Check out the everything Castlevania board for info

Personally, I think it needs moar whip

Final Fantasy 4

Final Fantasy 4; I bought it for the GBA I think 2 years ago, but I still haven't played it...

And then they announced it for the DS...and in 3d. So I figure that this will make me want to play it, but who knows...

Still loves me some Final Fantasy though, since FF III was awsome ( for me at least)

And right now, I'm going to target to pick up TWEWY. Wish me luck.
