Ahhhh, so the game of the year awards start becoming the Academy Awards. And by that I mean that they choose a literary piece of art they respect, knowing that the masses will not agree.

@triplexi Journey was PSN game of the year; it wasn't in the PS3 category.

@Timaetaj Oh, you're right about the handheld award, my bad. I'm not saying that these games shouldn't be honored as nominees; they should, and they deserve it. I wrote that comment simply because I thought that people wanting ME3 to win would want to know that it already lost.

@skiggy29 Halo 4 lost the Xbox award to Dishonored, along with Far Cry and MP3.

@CCGR_Pheonix Since TWD lost the PSN award, and ME3 lost the RPG and Xbox awards, you can take those out of the running.

I love how Mass Effect 3, Halo 4, XCOM, Mark of the Ninja, and The Walking Dead all can't win since they've lost on other awards. Plus, it's unlikely Journey or Spelunky could win as arcade games. And Zero Escape lost the handheld one. So taking those off the list, it is actually a battle between Guild Wars 2 and Dishonored. xD
