This will be interesting. It's hard to say at this point if this console will succeed or not. It needs killer apps, games that are system sellers... experiences exclusive to Ouya. Otherwise the system is nothing more than a technically unimpressive, poor man's gaming rig or a mobile device hooked up to a TV.
@queuing_for_PS4 Whenever a new console releases the company behind it always begins the process of looking ahead and planning their next machine. Also, all console makers are pushing to make their hardware more development friendly. Nothing in the article suggests desperation from Nintendo, just plans for the future.
Well, it looks like all of the people saying that Nintendo will have to drop out of the hardware business soon have just been proven wrong, again. I'm no Nintendo fanboy but I get tired of the notion that Nintendo has no right to be in the hardware business and that they're going to become the next Sega.
