Skeptical about both ends of the colabaration

Obsedian makes good games but they're usually plagued by horrible bugs

recent South Park episodes were disappointing but after seeing the documentary, its understandable since a week isn't enough time to fully flesh out a good episode.

This game is definitely hit or miss but I keep my mouth shut until I see some actual gameplay footage

IDK, the wording of that quote seems to point to Metroid WiiU, I remember everyone disappointed by the recent Metroid game and crying for Retro to work on it again

However if it turns out to be true..... :)

I'm thinking a new Metroid myself.

I'll be surprised if it's not.

That franchise has been too unprofitable for Nintendo lately for them to push it much anymore. Maybe on handhelds, yes, but...

Yeah, I'd be just glad nintendo is giving Metroid another chance Other M is probably the first nintendo game I've seen sold below 5 dollars within a year of release that's just sad :(

[QUOTE="Techn0holic89"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] I think Retro is supposed to be working on a new F-Zero.ChubbyGuy40

Where did you hear this?

Retro went to state they're working on a Wii-U title "everybody wants them to do." The other rumor is DKCR2, since the dev website for Wii-U was showing DK. Maybe having them do Mario Kart 7 tracks was a test-run to see how well they'd handle F-Zero. :o

So let me get this straight, Nintendo already has plans for TWO Zeldas and Mario Kart WiiU but has shown no intention of reinventing its other franchises?

Its a good thing Pikman 3 and Kid Icarus are in the works because I don't know how long I can stand just Mario and Zelda games.

( and if the rumors about sega working with nintendo are true,PLEASE let it be F-zero!)

Out of the two: Sci-Fi.

For some reason, anytime a game features an western medieval art-style with minotaurs, dragons and all, I'm reminded of all the the cheesy fantasy book covers from the 60's. There are exceptions to this however like the Legend of Zelda series, which have influences from most world cultures pre-renaissance.

So to anyone who completed the game, is there a trials-like level later on in Skyward Sword?(like the ones from WW and TP with the 50 floor levels and all)

Lets see here...

We have Bayonetta from Bayonetta

Lara Craft from Tomb Raider

Shantae from Risky's Revenge

Samus from Metroid(debatable because of other M)

Kameo from Elements of power

Jade from BG&E

There's more of course but I think I made my point. These games feature a main protagonist thats not just a sex object but are an actual developed character that kick ***

It's definitely a different game, but aside from the control and bosses, it feels like a devolution to me. Staying too close to formula is not the problem.ActionRemix
What about the dungeons?

I'm already at the third temple and I could strongly state that these are some of the best dungeons I've played in a Zelda game(except first temple, TP's forest temple was way better) The only thing that could be better is if they hid their treasures more better
