I think the article mentioning that the tone would be different, was comparing this movie to the other movies in the MCU. It looks different than Guardians or Thor, for example, or any of the Capt. America movies.

I think the tone they are talking about it is the high school setting. One of my favorite scenes in the trailers is Parker saying he wishes he (Iron Man) would stop treating him like a kid - as he's literally hopping up and down on his bed. I died. :)

Not a fan of the poster, but I don't hate it.

From what I've seen in the trailers, all I care about is Tom Holland as Spider-Man. I don't care what the movie is about as long as I get to see Tom do Peter Parker things and Spider-Man things. I'm 1000% on board.

I don't think they EVER said it would be only one game that would see expansions over time.

They said they would support the franchise for 10 years. When this comes out, Destiny will already be 3 years old.

@mitchell2211: less popular or sell more copies? with the exception that was GTA V (oh wait, it HAS online multiplayer) few single player games sell more copies than online games or MMOs.

AT LEAST in EP 7 we see that Rey has learned how to fight and survive growing up on Jakku.
