@knifebeater: thank you for this! I was confused by the article because I had no idea this was retconned in the series. as it exists in the movie, it's a terrible plot hole, but either way, it's even more ridiculous that the JEDI are like.. uh.. cool! army!
I'll defend all the Star Wars, all the time. I get why people get passionate about it and why they love certain things and hate other things - and others love those things and hate the other things. I still defend it all.
BUT
Attack of the Clones is just...bad. also, I'm pretty sure you had it wrong: Dooku commisioned the clone army. with Jango Fett. That is why they are CLONES OF JANGO FETT. Jango didn't appear after the fact to "take control," he was in on the plot. The story of Sifo-Dyas was a lie - and an easily researchable lie by Obi Wan or anyone, which makes all of it so unbelievable. It was happenening for at least 10 years, right under their noses, and they had no clue. and once they DO find out, they... take control of the Clones?!? I get that Palpatine is a master manipulator, but these are huge plot points that pretty much derail the whole prequel trilogy for me.
pretty sad that, in 2022, we still need confirmation of something as universally needed as cross-progression. as in, it doesn't happen often enough, so when it does, it's newsworthy instead of just a standard feature.
I would LOVE to see an EGPU dock for sale for the Deck! I don't care how big, it would be a permanent desktop feature, then I could undock the Deck and have it on the go!
I legit don't understand this. In my experience, the game is about as non-bot friendly as you can get. Meaning, killing monsters gets you about 2xp and the big level up moments are story/special solo-instances. Everything is really time-gated (one of the main reasons I quit) or focuses on clever "roster" progress - things like finding hidden Mokoko seeds or secret rooms, leveling up your "rapport" with certain NPCs, tracking down secret items to turn over to NPCs to cook/craft secret items, etc. not sure how bots can do any of that. /shrug
@Pyrosa: you nailed it. PLUS the Halo BP doesn't even reward coins. none. gotta get some coins in there to encourage buying from the cash shop and getting rewards that could add up to other free stuff!
that's not exactly true, btw. the chances that EVERYONE on your team will be trying to complete the *exact same challenges* at the same time are very, very small. just because YOU might have a "get 10 kills with the Commando" challenge doesn't meant everyone does. others could very well have the "score x on game x" type challenges, so they actually ARE trying to score for the win.
The other criticisms are valid, and I hope they fix it, just tired of this specific fallacy getting oxygen.
