@da_raging_asian:

I have a feeling it will hit a medium mark. More expensive than we're used to buying consoles (about $700-800) but still considerably cheaper than a similarly spec PC. so it WILL appeal to enthusiasts.

@DarkReign2022:

It sounds more complicated than that. I think the Oculus WAS the ID/ZeniMax VR project, and Carmack basically took it all.

@runstalker:

I agree with everything you said I also think it would be smart to call it the PS4K.

similarly I can see Project Scorpio using the name Xbox 4K.

@Rushaoz: Agreed.

Not to mention that they, well, didn't mention the heat or the price of this 8 core CPU that "beat" Intel's 8 core "by a hair."

@LOLZuMadBro:

that's...what...he meant. just LIKE how COD 3 jumped from WW2 to Modern Warfare with COD 4, they think the next big jump should be from Modern Warfare to Infinite Warfare.

and it was COD IW. I loved every moment of that!

Exactly.

I'm totally fine paying even $1000 for a Scorpio, as a comparable PC would be pushing $1500+ for those capabilities.

BUT I'm definitely not expecting it to be $600. good grief that's a fantasy land.

I'm surprised. Thank you. I was expecting a more cynical, typical "we're GameSpot so we hate everything" video.

VR really has to be experienced to be appreciated. I mean c'mon, he was JUGGLING that's insane!

Fair enough. by burned I mean being shown one thing, and having the final product (at launch) be a fraction of that kind of quality. Kudos to DICE for iterating enough both on the engine and on their network support.
