Have you tried VR? It is much more than sitting down and being immersed in a game with a gamepad. yes, you can do something like that, but why? it'd be like buying a color TV and setting it to black and white. and muting the sound.
@bat725: Not sure what you mean? Xbox has half the games they announced coming out in 2016 and 2017 looks good, too.
PS4 has ONE of the games they announced coming out in 2016 and all the rest are 2017 or even 2018. Except we don't know the release dates of some of the VR games/experiences, so there could be more than ONE game coming out in 2016.
You really should. The full experience is not translated in videos.
That said, make sure you try the "real" PREMIUM VR for the best experience. (Oculus or Vive) Don't get a bad first impression with something cheap like Samsung Gear VR.
Good point. the NVIDIA 1080 card, for example, only marginally improves performance at 1080p, but absolutely kills it at 4K and/or VR support. BUT it's still a cheaper alternative the the mega powered Titan card.
@rai1gun: I don't think it's back pedaling as much as broadening the appeal. Well, OK, so they did make the comment that "unless you own a 4K TV, you won't see the benefit of the Scorpio" and they're adjusting that comment.
