overall the movie is about a 7/10 for me. not as bad as some are saying, but some things are just too hard to overlook. I'm hoping the Director's Cut cleans up some issues.

I also disagree. and we can disagree with the critics and overlook the flaws. but we do need them. I'd much rather have someone warn me of the flaws in a movie or game for that matter, and then watch/play it and decide if i love it enough to overlook those flaws - then to buy the hype and get something and be seriously disappointed.

remember when GTA 3 came out and everyone gave it 10 out of 10? and it was NOT worthy. I wish someone had warned me back then how broken and hard to play that game really was.

that hardly qualifies it as "shitty" though. and doesn't excuse not paying the developer even a $1 tip for his hard work.

I'm glad I watched it. It's not as terrible as some are saying, but it's not great, either. But now I've seen it and can have my own opinion.
