I played MGS4 after reading plenty of gamespot posts. I dunno I just find it crazy and a little obsessive to see people go as far as to say that a video game is one of their best experiences in life. But that's just me I guess, though mgs4 ended the story pretty well, I really saw some redundant areas like explaining things that weren't interesting and after explaining it finding out that it had little/no relevance to the main plot(which was snake trying to stop liquid ocelot) but it's just me. Have fun playing mgs4 10 times cuz I won't, MGO ftw :D

I've never heard anyone actually say that 'MGS4 was the greatest experience of my life' now I've heard people call it their greatest GAMING experience which I agree with.

As for the storyline, its all relevent. Foxdie, Snakes ageing, Liquid, Namoi, Otacon, Sunny, Raiden, Drebin. Alll these play a part in a compelling storyline. Yes, Snake's mission is to stop Liquid but if you're a fan of the older games then knowing what will happen with Foxdie, what were Naomi's true intentions are equally important. And simply seeing a character we've seen take down Helicopters, tanks and countless amounts of Metal Gears become old, more human, slowly withering away before the viwers eyes, is great turn around and hurtful to see it happen to Snake at times.

I actually bought this game yesterday and I must say it is good. Very good infact but yeah, a lot of people are hardcore at this game and on my first go I was torn to peices.

Still fun though. I recommend it

Well my PS3 didn't brick, but here are the problems I've experienced since I've had 2.40.

Mic no longer works.

Games lag and stutter.

The loading times are a lot longer

Only a few minor issues but still annoying.

This game has sort of slipped me by, since I haven't had my PS3 long but its payday tomorrow and I was wondering, is it worth buying?

I dunno about you guys but damn...I could play through MGS4 another 5 times:P

Amd I'd play GTA for trophies. I'd play all my games for trophies. got a week off work next week, hopefully some patches will come out. It'll be great.
