I was thinking about this cause I was actually looking forward to customizing my own music into games. But for some reason I had games like GTAIV and Devil May Cry 4 in mind (I'm a rock/metal fan but c'mon). I never once cosidered what it would be like putting customized music over, as you said, MGS4 or RE5, as the music in MGS4 is simply stunning and RE5 is a horror game which works very much like a film and needs the music to add effect to the game.
Although I am looking forward to eventually cruising around Liberty City, gunning people down to the Manic Street Preachers 'The Holy Bible'.
You're like this now but in 15 years down the line...when Sony FINALLY patches our games for us and you start earning those trophies, it'll all be good.
I think we know that the next Metal Gear won't be 'Solid' since Snake is dead. Also, Big Boss tells Snake he can live out the last few months of his life simply 'living' since the new strain of Foxdie stopped him from becoming the walking Weapon of Mass Destruction. Which ruled out the possibility of someone having to eliminate Snake in the next game.
I like the ideas of it being Johnny but maybe they'll just introduce a completely new character.
But I do think they won't stop the MG series since they very popular. Only time will tell though.
So, you say you played other games in the MGS series then complain that "It's like a movie" but anyone who has played the MGS games will know what a huge storyline it has.
And also I have to applaud this post. I mean, you've strolled into these forums, insulted a great game that you are SO sure is wrong and the way you put your 'points' across is in a manner of blatant narcacissm that yours is the only valid opinion here. Well great, you didn't like the game, then again there will be more like you but they won't come into the forums and advise everyone not to play the game simply because they didn't enjoy it.
I think MGS4 is an amazing achievement for gaming and I enjoyed it from start to finish. See? A valid opinion.
