I don't think it is gonna do much. Just like dx10 haven't done much. Dx10 has been out for a while now, and it has only been utilized in a couple of games so far. I think the reason why developers don't want to make games for it, is because not everybody has vista so not everybody are able to use it, and most important, it must some how be easier for developers to port console games to pc as dx9, because it has only been pc exclusive games there has utilized dx10 graphics.

Well, I can't come up with any other reason why almost everytime some game comes out as a multiplatform the only platform Gamespot do not post a review for is the pc.
Mercenaries 2, alone in the dark, Grid, frontlines fuel of war, the club. and just recently they didn't post a review for Pure or Lego: Batman.
It has been going on for atleast the last half year. and it seems to be pretty deliberate.
What is going on here. Why do Gamespot hate the PC ?
Hmm. Don't think the graphics is that great. They are good, but i have seen better. The car models is nothing near those in some of the newer racing games (like Grid and Dirt). And almost any new fps got better character models than those is there. But then again, the reason why the graphics is not the best of the best is probably because of the sheer number of models and animations they have to put in to the game. Besides, most people dont choose to play GTA because of the graphics.
I think it looks great.
It looks much more alive than the old games. Something I want to explore. In Diablo 2, even though the different zones and towns didnt look alike, they all looked kinda dead and bland. They have gotten past that, taken it into an other era with better graphics, but still with the Diablo characteristics like the top down view.
It is almost like watching Mario go from 2d to 3d. It's different, but still great.
By November the GTA IV hype will have diminished. It definitely will not get a 10. I gave the 360 version a 9.5 and loved the experience. But no amount of graphical improvements will justify a 10. Fans of San Andreus are at most risk for getting disappointed, since GTA IV has much less side activities to do. But with an open mind to the new direction with more focus on story and core gameplay, you will eat it up.Qixote
I dont really think people are missing those cab missions and virtual pet stuff that much. And it is not like they have taken side activities out of the game, they have just removed the boring stuff and replaced it with something great. Like the multiplayer. And they are gonna put even more multiplayer stuff in the pc version. It is gonna be so awesome.
