@jonzilla_basic @TheGamerPhenom @El_Zaggy I hope they will. And I think they will. But I won't deny they've made a bad habit recently of royally screwing up on things like this. And it's why I remain slightly cautious.
@El_Zaggy Maybe. That comes down to how hands-off EA stays. I'm optimistic that they have learned their lesson from previous failures and complaints on things like this. Also, it's not *that* hard to see sarcasm through text. Your statement before the edit did it just fine.
@jonzilla_basic @TheGamerPhenom @atlanticmoon @xxxxTRISTAMxxxx @XxTheEvilxX I know. Similarities are one thing. Hell, some of Battlefields original core principles arguably came from Battlefront. But we don't need the same game dubbed over.
@Lambchopzin @KingofCabal @TheGamerPhenom Yep. I remember those days. It's just a question of how they execute it. As long as they keep their noses out of it more, and let the devs do what they want, I think we'll be in good shape as gamers.
@KingofCabal @TheGamerPhenom Eh. They've been dubious in the past. But you have to imagine the recent debacle with the Online Passes has taught them some kind of lesson.
@Lambchopzin @SergioMX Oh, no doubt. I'd say you can make the argument that many of the principles found in a game like Battlefield, were first done, albeit on a smaller scale, by the first two Battlefront games. So similarities, and certain elements I think are guaranteed. But they just need to make sure that as a gamer, I don't feel like I'm playing another Battlefield game.
