@ssdd_again @TheGamerPhenom It was sarcasm. Bad medium to use it, I know. I won't deny a lot of Sony, success is simply capitalizing off of MS's stupidity, but they have no one but themselves to blame for that.

@Supabul @TheGamerPhenom What, DRM? You are correct, DRM would hurt the gaming industry. It's why most aren't going to buy the "One."

@ssdd_again @Mendax2013 If you intend to say the DRM policies MS has invoked are going to stop piracy, give it a break. It's going to happen regardless of what companies try. It's a small minority, and Microsoft decided to punish the majority for it. Sony was wise enough not to.

@ssdd_again @david1230 @Dannystaples14 Not a Sony fan. Just a former Microsoft user going with the best available option. You came on here, looking like an arrogant elitist, telling us we "couldn't read," when you clearly missed what we were talking about.

@CptRexKramer Not based on history. It took Sony completely revamping the PS3, upping the specs, lowering the price, and eating a huge slice of humble pie to even get back into the console race this gen. Microsoft will have to do the same, and they are far too arrogant to do that. It'll doom them before they figure it out.

@Dannystaples14 @TheGamerPhenom @david1230 @JoeGamer1234 It's funny how I've tried to be reasonable this entire time. Some of us aren't uninformed, and you aren't the only one with knowledge on here, regardless of how much you puff it up to be. You make yourself look like more and more of an ass with every comment you make like that.

I did the research that I did based off of past market trends, based on similar console and retail design if you care to know. Some of it, as I admitted, is an educated guess. No more so than you saying it WILL be successful. Difference is, you have absolutely nothing to back up your statement. I do. In the future, don't piss off the one person trying to have a reasonable discussion with you.

@Dannystaples14 @JoeGamer1234 @TheGamerPhenom @david1230 And if you care, my hatred towards the Kinect isn't about it spying on you. It's about forced integration, MAKING me buy it when I don't want it, and trying to push it into games that have absolutely no need for it. For me, and a lot of people, the camera is just an extra annoyance adding to the cost that isn't needed one bit, other than to regulate, which is BS.

@Dannystaples14 @TheGamerPhenom @david1230 @JoeGamer1234 Predict? No. Make a highly informed, educated guess, based off of trends and patterns? Yes. Again, we saw the same thing with the PS3. Overpriced, and underpowered compared to the 360, until Sony changed things, it's sales were TERRIBLE.

No, I can't 100% say the "One," will fail. But I'd be willing to be it falls far behind the PS4 if they keep it this way. It's not just the internet I base my thought process off of. It's the details about both, the opinions of the majority (the internet DOES give you an idea of where the majority is leaning, whether you like it or not, even if it isn't 100% accurate, it is a decent view of how the majority view things), and my own personal view on the market that make me feel the way I do. The cost alone is enough to turn off a large majority. The restrictions hurt the core gamers they've long held tight in their grasp. And competing against Nintendo for the family sale is a tall task indeed. Combine all of this, it points to the "One," being in a rather decent level of trouble.

@Mendax2013 @TheGamerPhenom @ssdd_again Or just too ignorant to see past Microsoft's lies. Many people are.
