there's definitely some information that is hidden from us about the delays
for sure Diablo 3 has been pushed back because the game came from PS4 exclusive to PS4 + XBOXONE and the date was pushed back only to have the game released the same date on PS4 and X1 ...
for most others some financial specialists (morons paid for nothing) decide which is the best date to release a game and maximise sales, just remember Watch dogs was scheduled to release in november at the PS4 launch ... But Assassin's creed 4 released then so UBIsoft would split the sales between 2 games so it was better to release it at a later time (and don't tell me it was to optimize the game, there's collision bugs all around, lots of movements are impossible for no reason ... PC players can't even launch the game because of Uplay connexion)
the light thing is used to identify gamers in a local multiplayer game (without camera)
in some games the color changes depending on your health (glows bright red when you're about to die) or flashing to warn of something it will/could be used as a limited PS Move in the future (the Move is great though held as a tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat ... fells more natural than half holding the DualShock)
Problem is for kids that are either not well informed by their parents about video games being virtual, violence being bad ... or kids that are naturally violent (% being maybe 15/10) as "realistic" / modern shooters will resonate for them as being an extension of what happens in the streets.
With the media spreading a climate of fear and distrust of others, so even games like the Division could make some violent to protect their lives or their own
