Long story short, went to the local drugstore for some bristol board for a school project. Saw this girl probly around the age of 20-25. Its late here and I was pretty grumpy cause the oscars are on and I missed highlights of the boston at pheonix game so I wasnt exactly the nicest person you could talk to at that point. I walk in and go up to the counter and say in not the nicest of tones "Do you guys have any bristol board?" she then reply's very nicely"yup" then shows me where. After I payed for them I realized even though she wasnt completley good looking, i;ll probly be going there alot more often for random things.

If most people buy guns for shooting ranges, then why can't we simply give shooting ranges licenses to hold certain types of guns so that people can use them rather than bring their own?:|Theokhoth

It's not something that people like to hear, but safety has a cost. If the cost is too great, then sometimes we'll have to be prepared to give up a little bit of safety. We could pack cars with expensive safety features and put a speed limit cap at 25 mph on all streets. But that would cost a HELL of a lot not only in monetary terms, but in terms of the effect that such restrictions would have on society at large. The cost of that would clearly exceed the benefit, so some people are just gonna have to die in car crashes. If car crashes were common enough, we might have to resort to such matters. Though rather than completely restructuring society, it would probably be preferable to simply work on how to reduce car crashes.

Opium comes from the poppy plant. Cocaine comes from the cocao plant. You don't just grow the plants and automatically get opium and cocaine; you have to do stuff to them, I don't know what it is that has to be done because I don't do that ****, but it's not like opium and cocaine just grow from the ground.

What are you talking about? Stoners? I thought weed affected short-term memory, thus their grades would suffer if school is based on memory. Space Moose specifically said he's seen morons get good grades. I assume he means stoners when he says morons. But if school is based on what you can remember, and stoners lack in that department, how can they get good grades?
