As for maxing out, that depends on what resolution you plan to be playing at and what anti-aliasing/filtering

Vortexx

I was going to play at a resolution of like 1600x1200 or something, I don't remember what it was. I want to put AF at about at least 4x and 2xAA is fine.

Umm... I'm not sure if you read that correctly. I'm not an expert on computers considering I'm asking for help, but please be knowledgeable in the area you are trying to help me with next time.

Thank you.

EDIT: Were you being sarcastic or something...? Wow, I just made myself look stupid lol. I can never sense sarcasm... At least not over the Internet.

My parents decided to buy me a new computer if I sold my 360 and gave them the money along with the computer I am currently using now. They wouldn't let me build it for some odd reason, I guess they didn't trust me or something. Anyway, after some long and difficult persuading of my mom NOT to buy a Dell, I ordered from CyberPowerPC.

 Here are the specs:

X-Cruiser Mid-Tower Case W/ Window and neon lights

Extra 3-Color Neon Light LED Case Fan

AMD Athlon(TM)64 X2 5400+ Dual-Core CPU

AMD ATHLON64 CERTIFIED CPU FAN & HEATSINK

 320GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD

MSI K9N4 SLI-F nForce 500 SLI Chipset DDR2/800 SATA-II RAID MBoard w/ Dual 16x PCI-Express

 1GB (1x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Memory

Microsoft(R) Windows Vista(TM) Home Premium

 Thermaltake ToughPower 850 Watts

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB

I want this computer to be awesome, like nothing I've ever played before. My questions are:

1) Will it max upcoming games like Crysis and Unreal 3 and still manage to get smooth framerates?

2) Will it be loud? I don't want my computer to sound like a jet-engine while I'm playing games.

If anyone could help me out here, that would be great. By the way, it's not shipping till about 2 weeks or so, and the wait is making me impatient!

AHAHAHAHAHA Iphone... Lmao!

Get the new PC. Sure, the Iphones look kind of cool in the commercials, but you should realize that they are nothing more than a multi-media phone. You will play a few crappy games, watch a few movies, listen to music, and call people... Sure, that is quite a bit to offer from a portable device, but if you really want an MP3 Player, get one of those Zen Vision M players, I don't personally have one, but I heard they are better than the Ipod and are much more affordable.

If I were you, I'd go for the computer.
