my favourite RPG for the PC is Oblivion. Kept me busy for some time. :DchrisrooR

Uhh... Oblivion is a great game, but not an MMORPG. Anyway, I think I hate MMORPG's now. My favorite one I'd have to say would be World of Warcraft, but I've gotten very bored with that now, and I've never made it past level 25. I actually liked Runescape for a while too... Though I am ashamed of that, I still play it from time to time. I used to play Maple Story alot, and it wasfunfor awhile, then it justbecame sorepetitive that it was torture, so Iquit.I'm currently trying out Lord of the Rings Online, I haven't really gotten into it yet, but hopefully I'll end up liking it.

Lol, if you ask me it can do everything the GC can do times 1.5, and add a remote controller.

I really wouldn't recommend getting an Action Replay. Of course, if you're just using it for import games, then it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. When I used it, which was for nothing but cheats, it had a lot of bugs, and was just an overall piece of crap. It crashed my games a frequent amount of times, and I eventually stopped using it altogether.

[QUOTE="Grodus5"]Guild Wars is just a downgraded version of WoW. I love MMORPGs, but I play about the worst one available (Runescape lol) but I still love it, even though it may be "bad" compared to other ones.Archebius

Guild Wars is very, very different from WoW. I personally like it a lot better, as well.

Read Lord British's (that sounds awkward) interview on what is wrong with the MMO genre today. It rings very true, but there are several on the way that look like they're trying to be different.

The best MMO out there currently is Guild Wars, in my opinion, but that's probably because I don't care for the standard feel of an MMO and Guild Wars kind of straddles the line. I played SWG, LOTRO, WoW... all of these felt similar. Too many grocery list quests, too little storyline. All of them felt a mile wide and an inch deep. The MMO genre has gotten stagnant, and eventually games will be released that revitalize it.

I really wouldn't consider Guild Wars an MMO, just because it is entirely different from any other. Its online environment isn't open, and is only in cities, you can party with other people of course, but other than that it feels like too much of a single player game. Still, I enjoy it a lot more than I do playing WoW.

WoW has gotten so boring that it just pisses me off now, and I really would like to try out another MMO. I've heard Lord of the Rings Online is very good, but I'm not sure if I want to spend $50 on it just yet. Does anyone have a guest pass they could send me? If so, that would be great. Thanks.

AHH. Vista= Piece of crap.Try to run it as an administrator (you can do this by right clicking on the Battlefield 2 icon, and check the box that says "run as administrator". Hopefully this will solve the problem, I'm using vista right now and I did that, and now I have no problems.

Lmao, "do people still play it?" There are over 7,000,000 accounts in World of Warcraft, trust me, tons of people play it. However, I personally am not a big fan of WoW. The first time you play it, it's a blast. It gets old very quickly though, and unless you are willing to devote your entire life to playing one video game, you'll probably hate it. Anyway, check out the free trial at the website if you want to, maybe you'll like it... Then again, it will get as stale as the goldfish crackers I was attempting to eat earlier today.

I don't like MMO's either, for the most part they're nothing but countless hours of grind. Sure, levels 60 and 70 in WoW are supposed to be a blast! The problem is you spend many weeks of pressing buttons and accepting more quests just trying to get there. I used to love MMO's, but their concept gets old all too quickly.

Yum, Cake and Pie. You could make Cake-Pie! That would be pretty good.

HAHA MY PC PWNS THOSE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS!

Anyway, Vista isn't required for Crysis, thank god. It still looks amazing in DX9, and really you're not going to notice that much of a difference in DX10, and it generally runs better under DX9 anyway. You should definitely have a good graphics card and a lot of RAM to play this game though, as game requirements are getting steeper by the minute. My Advice: Do NOT, under any circumstances, buy Windows Vista. It is a piece of crap at the moment, and probably always will be. It is nothing more than a shiny new interface and a downgrade as far as stability goes.
