Actually, they're both $39.99 and the DX 10 version doesn't work on my computer, it always crashes. As for the DX 9 version, it works perfectly and I have all the settings on high. Also, my 360 and PC are connected to the same monitor at the same resolution when gaming [1280x1024]. Also, when I played the PC version [DX 9], I got frames from 35-52 frames, never below 35. So, it was pretty stable for me. As for achievements, I don't really care about them, they're just a bonus to me. ATLReppa770

Do you have Direct X10 installed? When I got my 8800gts I had to download DirectX10 from Microsoft's website, then the demo worked. The DX9 version runs much better, and the DX10 version doesn't make many things look significantly better. I personally preferred the PC version, despite the performance problems it can run into.

I usually play on normal difficulty, except for games like Half Life 2 I play on hard. Playing online is a lot more difficult if you ask me.

I'm not sure what MMO other than Runescape really uses Paypal... I really do suggest you use a credit card, just cancel as soon as you subscribe, and that will stop the recurring fees and you will still be able to play till the time you paid for is up. If you absolutely refuse to use a credit card, I don't know what to tell you.

My specs can easily handle Bf2. Thanks for the tip, it actually worked after pressing it 10 times. Thank you both for responding.

ONE MORE QUESTION-When I try to set up an account for BF2 it says that there was a database error and to try again. My firewall is not blocking it and I have high speed internet, what can I do to create an account online.

Thank you again for both of your responses, and if anyone can help me out one more time, then it would be more than welcomed.

Hmm... It looks like TheDukeEmporer's advice actually worked lol... Congratz on that. If it says there's a database error, it's probably just a problem that EA is having at the moment, try again in an 30 minutes to an hour, it should be fixed by then. If you still have that problem... I don't know how to help you. For now, just try out single player and get a feel of what the game is like.

It's a picky game sometimes, just keep trying.TheDukeEmperor

Wow... that was some pretty useless information.

Anyway, do you have Vista? If so, try running it an as an adminstrator. Like Pittstrike said, what are your PC specs? If your computer isn't good enough to run it, then it might not even start up.

2.8Ghz :o , and sounds good, don't really care about short campaigneLonelynight

I'm pretty sure the 2.8ghz is for single core Intel processors, and that's not at all demanding now.

I don't know, but it was a waste of money. I wanted HD videos, but I can't even view most of them because of the "age restriction".

Interesting. I have a hard time believing a human being can tell the difference between 60fps and 200fps, but according to that article, it's possible.firefly026

Yeah... Most people don't really notice the difference, just because either way seems amazingly smooth, if I look closely enough 60 and 100fps seem like a big jump for me, but it doesn't really matter because 60fps still feels perfect if that makes sense...

Ohhh owned. Lol.

Yeah, to the original post, keep V-sync off unless you have screen tearing issues (like horizontal lines going up the screen), even if you enable it though, 60fps still feels very smooth.
