Because they learned from their mistakes. Or so it seems.
Well, they also focused more on MKWii's online than in Brawl's online. The reason? Maybe Sakurai is still kinda paranoic about Smash Bros becoming a competitive series, so he wanted people to actually Brawl with their friends locally. Oh, and also with items on high, annoying stages, and 4 players on each battle. I'm REALLY disappointed with Sakurai.
Please, don't use the sales numbers as an excuse. This is a board of mostly hard core gamers and we are looking for quality games and the console that sells the most is not always the one with more quality games. There is something called marketing, you know. The Wii is selling a lot, and that's because casual gamers buy even crappy games and the Wii is targeting towards casual gamers. So, they might be doing really good at sales, but not good for us at all.
Yeah, I'm also disappointed. The only game I bought this year was Brawl and I'm not looking forwards to any Wii game, except maybe for Madworld. After the E3 this year I felt like selling my Wii. Tbh, I'm only keeping it to play Brawl.

Uhh....guys, i have some VERY bad news. I went to go register earlier today, I asked if i can use meta knight. They said "No, theres been a recently discovered glitch" or something. They daid it was an infinite demensional cape or something. And said that toon-link was banned too (Didn't ask why though). So i guess im stuck with Marth for the time being. P.S: I didn't register yet, I still have more than enough time. Yes he will probably get banned from official tournaments too. The glitch is called infinite cape glitch and it makes the down B move stay forever. Toon Link shouldnt be banned, though. That's really weird.
