Well, looking at how hard they've been selling the xbox one to advertisers, tv producers, Hollywood, etc. I'm going to guess the core message is they're going to use it to spy on people recording their thoughts, reactions, heartrate, attention level, etc. while you do everything and then sell that information to them. Oh and it plays games too.

Yep. Just keep funding studies until you produce one (or pay someone to produce one) that says what you want to hear.

Microsoft conceded defeat on almost every single anti-consumer policy they tried to push through. I'm not sure why people are squealing xbox won. A strategic retreat isn't really a victory. If anyone "won" it's gamers.

That happened a lot faster than I thought. I guess they were considerably more concerned than their press releases would have lead you to believe.

Now...lets drop the spying on me and I'll consider buying one.

Ownership is morphing? They want to morph it into where you don't OWN anything.

I buy gaming consoles to PLAY GAMES.

"We're going to sponsor it. We're going to give people tools. We're going to give more information."

Sounds like "We're" willing to support them as long as they are willing to give us control of them.
