It's possible it will be. If 3rd party developers have shifted their focus to 360 or Wii for exclusive games then it will not be in a good situation. Sales translate into developer support and developer support translates into more sales.
Most will agree that Halo 3 is ALOT better than gears, but its scores less? Now you can attribute that to the new review system.. and I will still say Gears is NOT 9.7. The multi player is a joke compared to Halo 3 AND even Resistance.
Bioshock, no multiplayer - 9.0
R&C, no multiplayer, 12 hour long replayable single player-7.5 for no apparent reason besides "too much variety"

Well Gears of war was released a year before Halo 3 and judged by the standards of that point in time. Bioshock was simply a work of art and had decent replay value because of it's RPG elements. I don't think you could say 9.0 was not deserved with that game, many other sites scored it much higher in fact.
Good for everyone I guess. Delays caused by developing on 360 and then expecting it to be easy to port it the PS3 hardware are annoying. If that is the reason the games I'm thinking of were delayed. Unless they have a contract with Sony they should just release the 360 version early like valve did with orange box.

I didn't say they have never given games high scores, just less often then most other sites and THPS2 was a long time ago when they were much easier on games then they are today. When was the last 10? Soul Calibur?

Those scores are very well deserved. Think about how long people were able to play both of those games and the value they got out of them, or in the case of Halo 3 will get out of them. Orange box was another one worthy of the score. Can you honestly say R&C could be played as long as these games? Also I don't think Mass Effect will get 10, it's too ambitious to not have any flaws.

Only if they have the games you like and PS3 doesn't have enough of them. I definalty prefer the 360 but if I would be happy enough with just having a PS3 because of multiplats like COD 4, FIFA 08, Oblivion, Need for Speed Pro Street ect.
