If that is the case then I'm glad there are reviewers like 1up who don't just go along with the crowd. I thought Gears of War was average, Oblivion too for that matter. It wouldn't be the first time reviewers had overlooked mediocre gameplay elements because of super shiny graphics.

True. I think the 360 and PC have much better games libraries then the PS3 but I would definitely prefer the PS3 to the Wii. It all comes down to personal opinion and preference and I don't really feel any game this generation has deserved a 9.5 score anyway. That of course will change when Mass Effect is released :)

Obsidian's KOTOR 2, actually. Just like Obsidian's NWN 2 was better than NWN.

What if the game is from a developer with a long record of AAA games? e.g. Bungie, Valve, Nintendo, Irrational ect. That's the issue here. Most people think it's more likely a meteor would hit them then Guerrilla make a good game and until they earn respect by making good games it's going to stay that way.
