Umm, where? If you're talking about GPUs with Volcanic Islands architecture in them those aren't on the market yet. And even if they were it wouldn't matter cuz they're a different architecture. Xbox One and PS4, however, use Southern Islands tech.

Well, I think the audio chip is for Kinect voice recognition, not for gaming. Kinect is going to have to be running in the background 24/7 keeping track of 50+ commands at many different languages. The audio block will be used for decoding verbal commands on the fly (Microsoft stressed OS smoothness).

It's just so strange that Microsoft would invest in sound rather than graphical computing power. Kinect is the only explanation.

Forza 5 is the only game at 1080p and the latest Gamescom / PAX gameplay was a complete joke. Pre-baked lighting, non-existent environmental details, massive blur to have the system push max poly's on car models, no day/night cycles, no weather, no nothing.

Ryse was a joke of Gamescom. And it is being made by one of the most technically proficient teams on the planet who's main ... ability ... is to push hardware to the 110 max. If even they are having difficulties making this system look impressive AT ALL, then you have massive issues.

Planetside 2 = 1080px60fps
Killzone : Shadowfall = 1080px60fps Multiplayer
Blackside Retribution = 1080px60dps
Warframe = 1080px60fps
DriveClub = 1080p native, targeting 60FPS ( most say it is around 45FPS at the moment ). Dynamic lighting, subsurface scattering, day/night, weather, etc.
Knack = 1080p native, Cerny hasn't talked about framerate yet
Second Son = 1080p native x 60FPS
List goes on and on. Battlefield 4 recommended PC specs are > then what the X1 is capable of. It recommends a 7850 GPU with 3GB of GDDR5. The X1 at its best GPU wise is a 7770 with 0GB of GDDR5.

Oh I know how much it must suck to be on the corner of MS at the moment.
