@billlabowski @gamingnerd121 It's wierd really. When you think about it, the controller was invented for the purpose of gaming, the keyboard and mouse are not. I've been playing PC since the early 90's, so I'm used to the keyboard. However, as an example I just played Far Cry 3 and found it much easier with the controller. Driving in games without a steering wheel is much easier with a controller. I don;t think the keyboard is dated, well maybe a little, but I do see the point in saying that controllers are the way of the future. It doesn;t mean that you don;t have to develop for PC like almost every other company.
@gamingnerd121 @billlabowski Gamepads work on consoles and PC. Besides. Given that this apparently has a very large scope I would hope that they will release it for PC so that we can really dive into the artwork. Then again, next-gen should be pretty beefy hardware-wise. Maybe they are developing for PC and porting to console since they are going to be similar now.
For anyone that is saying that any of these companies can just go away and deal with the billions they already have: You are demonstrating a lack of understanding in regards to the way reality works in business. There is a reason that Wall-mart makes millions a year. There is also a justifiable need from Mattel for $12 million if they want to post profit as their stock is going south after a recent climb.
You can beat them or join them. So get an education, fuel your own ideas, and beat them.
@EL_Bomberdor I think he has a certain style of humor that works if he's given time to think about the delivery. Also, some more creative shows couldn't hurt.
@PS2fweak I was just about to say. Maybe a better title. Are they being stubborn about it? It would get so much attention. So, maybe it is a good name? I don't know.
@sladakrobot @spats77 I think spats77 trying to say that Microsoft is doing a very good job of disregarding consumer feedback and not being able to visualize even current trends, let alone future ones. Also he/she dislikes Disney and there IP buying ways. Dey took 'er Ster Wers! And such.
I agree but Disney has loads of money. They're actually doing a pretty good job at this business thing. Microsoft is like Apple without the consumer research. A bunch of geniuses that think they know what people are going to need and how they are going to operate.
Good, but good luck. People have been screaming "It's the damn parents responsibility!" for a long time (myself included) so if they are even getting close to "Let's attack the parents not the players" then I'm happy as a pig in freedom.
