@SIDEFX1 Yeah they do, I didn't really pay attention to the PS3 launch but from what I've read it was pretty disastrous. But yeah, why buy a console if you're not going to play games on it? Does not compute. A while ago they even said that businesses could use the Xbox One to help present stuff to their clients or something...don't remember it that well. I couldn't help hearing "WTF?" in my mind over and over...

Sony profited greatly from Microsoft's mistakes, but their attitude has been much better in my eyes. if you want, call them the lesser of two evils, but the difference is there.

@racerxgundam I live in The Netherlands/Holland, and technically we do have a monarch here, but the royal family has more of symbolic function here nowadays. XD Hagelslag, cheese, mills, all that jazz. ;) Oh and i saw you correct that "fail" typo to "fall", you don't fool me good sir!

@dom28 Yeah but then again, most of Microsoft's PR since the initial X1 announcement has been nothing but an insult to our intelligence. XD

@racerxgundam Yep, I'm European and for the current gen, Microsoft certainly had the advantage. Every multiplatform game that was advertised here always showed the Xbox 360 version; the PS3 wasn't even mentioned. But with this shift away from core gamers I think they might lose that advantage. Despite haivng never owned a Microsoft console, I was really hoping they'd do better, if only for the competition for Sony.

@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 Yeah...first of all I mean they announced the multimedia stuff first, so they could bring out the big guns for E3? But by doing that, they angered their core gaming audience who then went into E3 with a different state of mind, a more negative one. Of course Microsoft didn't do anything to remedy that since... They really screwed up. I'm also not a fan of this "All In One" entertainment system. I buy a console for the games! I do not want Achievements for watching TV!!!

@SIDEFX1 Oh ha, I watch TV every day for a few shows, but I spend most of my free time on my PC nowadays. I also have a PS3 (and a PS2) but I haven't bought any new games for it recently... I'm sure I will though.

I also feel like my PS3 should be falling apart any minute now. I've never encountered the YLoD despite it being a 40GB fat model that I bought a few months after launch... If it goes on much longer I'll be anticipating it to spontaneously combust!

@racerxgundam True, true, you have a good point there. :)

Well I'm always up for a healthy debate regarding the Xbox One stuff, but it gets annoying when people defend it without even looking at the facts. Yeah, the policy thing really didn't sit well with me. The fact that they reversed it just like that just makes me feel like a lab rat. Like Microsoft thought, how far can we take this until it starts to hurt us? I don't appreciate their recent practices and obnoxious PR.

@racerxgundam No! My disguise was already compromised?! Curses, what do I do...er... *insert random RE6 comment* That'll do.

Yeah, I'm way too nice tbh. But I couldn't resist digging in after lurking for a while. All those comments were just too juicy. <3 Feel free to remain angry trolls, I want Feedbackula to stay in business!

When i was little I played DOS games, so for some reason my parents raised me a gamer. I don't regret it though, it's an amazing hobby!

I do run into other female gamers, mostly in fantasy MMOs. Yeah, girls and well people in general who are outside looking in don't see it. At first they think you're playing a kid's game, then they start saying they're gamers too (I play Angry Birds/Farmville! so I'm a gamer right?) and I don't know which one I prefer...

I'm always up for introducing people to the lovely world of video games, but if you don't want to understand, then don't mock it or we will have words! Angry words!

@racerxgundam I'm a female gamer, still dislike the Kinect... But then I don't buy party games, I buy "real games". *cough* There is a potential audience for Kinect, all those party games and sports games etc. attract a certain slice of the population. I don't know how large that slice is, but all console companies seem very optimistic about their new products right now so it's not just Microsoft.
