@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 Yeah, I thought you would have different sized cities. Kind of has to be. XD I haven't been to a lot of different countries yet, so I can't comment really. I have been to london for one afternoon though, to see the sights, but we used the Tube/Underground instead of cabs. London nightlife is pretty notorious though, from what I've seen .All the alcohol. >< Not that we're much better over here. Alcohol is legal here from age 16, but kids as young as 13 start drinking themselves into a stupor. Kids nowadays! (I'm 22 btw, so I get to shake my head at the younger generation already! >:D)
Anyway, I'm going to head off and get some sleep. Thank you two for a very interesting discussion and all the politeness! We made this website a better place.
@SIDEFX1 Oh yeah, that does sound pretty small. And from what I've seen, American cities can be MASSIVE. Like Tokyo and [insert Thai city here]. I do like Australia though, I hope to visit it someday as well as the USA and maybe Canada if I can squeeze it in.
And why do almost all of my replies here begin with yes, yeah or yep? You people are too nice, start being stupid trolls so I can disagree with you!
@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 Yep I prefer PS4 exclusives over the Xbox Ones, so that coupled with my newly developed distrust of Microsoft, the higher price point and the mandatory Kinect, I really don't see myself buying an X1.
My issue with PC gaming is that technology is progressing forward rapidly. I'm sure there are people out there whose PCs already outclass the upcoming consoles. The nice thing about a console is that it's essentially plug & play; you know the console will always be able to run the games that are released for it. And with the 'play while you install' feature the installation time is practically zero.
@SIDEFX1 Oh wow, I didn't realize... I know the Outback isn't hospitable, but I thought there were surely more people in your country. I do recall hearing that Australia needs more people for certain lines of work, I guess that ties into it. I live in a city with 10,000 inhabitants, so Sydney still looks very big to me. I just can't even comprehend the idea of a city as large as the entire province/county I live in - not sure if Sydney fits in that category though, considering what you just said.
@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 It must have been destiny! ò.ó It was all part of Microsoft's masterplan, to unite gamers! How very courageous. *nod nod* Hehe but yeah, these situations have caused a lot of chaos but also a lot of fun.
@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 "Console gaming is vastly superior." *steps back and lets the horde of anrgy PC piranhas take you*
I've always combined PC gaming with console gaming and I love both of them equally! Your comment reflects just how badly Microsoft screwed up, or as I like to call it, royally shooting themselves in the foot over and over.
I dislike PC gamers who go all "no pc gaming is superior no it doesn't take a lot of money to build a great gaming rig you stupid console fanboys!" and completely miss the point. Several gamers like myself show that it's possible to enjoy the best of both worlds. Sadly, trolls have trouble coexisting with other species.
@SIDEFX1 It's been very entertaining! I don't mind that you people are keeping me up late, either! (it's just past 4.30 AM here now, woe is me) Good luck with your Injustice marathon, man, that sounds incredibly tough.
@racerxgundam @SIDEFX1 Ha yeah, there aren't that many of us! I only know of one other. But to be honest, our population count just makes the chance that much smaller. We have about 16 million inhabitants, no 1 million population cities like in the USA, and our country is about 1/8th the size of a regular Canadian county.
TL;DR we're SMALL
We do get a lot of advertising from other countries though, so it helps create new gamers. :)
@SIDEFX1 I can imagine, I haven't been this vocal about a subject since I joined the website! I'm still suffering from withdrawal after Microsoft's policy reversal. I need more obnoxious PR to feed off of! T_T
@SIDEFX1 @racerxgundam I would have as well. Almost all of the games I'm interested in are coming to the PC anyway, I would have upgraded my PC instead of buying a console. That option still isn't off the table, but I'm waiting until launch to judge the two consoles for good.
