@keysnsamples @TohouAsura I'm happy this is happening. Ever since Xbox360 launched, Microsoft has done nothing but hurt gaming and been a blight on it.
Finally they reveal their true form.
It seems we are going back to 1996, the two gaming superpowers once again being SONY and Nintendo .
All we need now is for SEGA to get back into the game and it's a full circle.
It's the full retail price. You have to re-purchase the game.
I REPEAT -- You have to purchase the game. Buying a used game will essentially gain you nothing but a used disk, the game MUST be purchased at it's full current price.
You can trade in your game code online, losing access to it, however the game will still be sold at full price.
Basically, they are screwing you over more than GameStop ever did.
@yearssomuch They used a classic case of " Down the ante".
Basically, they let terrible rumours spread so that when they announce their DRM, it won't look AS bad in comparison to what was announced before, making people think they are actually being fair.
Simple-minded trick for simple-minded people. Not doing it for me, Microsoft, up yours.
So yeah, I can sell my game online... But technically speaking, if I seek to purchase a game rather than trade it in, I do indeed need to pay full price for "permission" to play the game?
WHAT.
UP YOUR ASS, Microsoft. Permission, peh. If it weren't for us people buying your shit, you wouldn't have any "permissions" to give.
