@JohnnyNeat "Bring it back"? Have you not played Journey, Limbo, Unfinished Swan or any number of recent indie titles. Or do you just play games from big budget companies? If you like arful experiences they have been numerous recently
All flash and no substance. I'm all for the artful games like limbo, journey and a lot of the indie titles but it looks like Ubisoft have taken a look at them and decided to jump on the band wagon (what with the popularity of indie games right now) but in doing so have forgotten the actual game play. Looks pretty yes but indies also have great original gameplay that either makes you think or tests your reactions, this just looks shallow. It's a platformer where you don't actually have to do any platforming because you can fly through the levels? And to try and make it original they give you a white orb to use to interact with things, if you're going to add co-op/twin stick aspects then take a leaf out of The Puppeteer's book, don't just stick another thing on the screen. I might be wrong as this is the first I have heard of the game but from this trailer I saw nothing that puts this in the same league as many of the indies out there, it's just looks pretty but shallow although I hope I'm wrong.
@guardianofhonor What are you talking about?! It was the opposite last gen and if you hadn't noticed they've been heavily featuring Titanfall for a while now, not to mention scoring it a 9 out of 10 today. Sony aren't paying anyone to talk negatively about the Xbone, MS earnt that all on their own
PS Plus embarrasses the MS attempt to provide a similar service. The games MS offer are old, and I mean old. PS Plus has tonnes of recent AAA releases every month.
Let's stop with the fanboy war and comparisons eh guys. I've always been a PS gamer but I bought a 360 for the exclusives and have just ordered an XBone primarily for Titanfall. Just because I prefer PS and view the PS4 as the superior machine with better potential for gamers doesn't mean I don't appreciate what the MS console has to offer as well and am the first to admit that this will likely be better than all PS4 exclusives so far (though infamous may have something to say about that soon). People comparing it to Killzone, yes this will be better cause KZ was disappointing. Doesn't diminish the PS4 console at all. And to all you Sony fanboys ragging on this game for the sake of it, grow up. If it's genuinely not your cup of tea that's completely fair enough and it's not a game I'll be spending all that much time with myself to be fair but it doesn't change the fact that it clearly does what it sets out to do very well.
MW1 and 2 were the only truly good cod's so it makes sense that Vince's next game be stellar. I'm relieved to see it live up to expectations and to see an early review confirming that to reassure me that my bundle preorder was worth it. I'm looking forward to being able to play casually without concern for trophy completion as it's not on my favored console. Bring it on I say, both consoles are going to be great in their own way and this is MS's first step toward rebuilding their rep
Look almost as repetitive as COD. Think it would get boring quickly. It doesn't have as many unlockables as COD and thats what was addictive about that game. So without that people may lose interest if every match feels similar like on COD
