Tony-Harrison's forum posts
I'm going to leave this thread to die. Feel free to post in it whatever.
I'm going to think exactly what it is I'm trying to say as I do believe Microsoft is trying to force the industry in it's favour, and I do not think it is something a gamer would support if they saw what was going on.
I realize as gamers you want to think Microsoft are on your side. Especially on this forum.
Shouldn't you say the xbox is a piece of crap or something?Kez1984
I like Obsidion. I think they are a good developer.
I'm a gamer not a fanboy. And for the record I own an Xbox360 and I owned an Xbox. I see what Microsoft are doing to the industry.
They stand to earn more if the Xbox brand is successful.

Xbox is hardware. Windows/Direct X is software.
Work out which is more profitable.

1. No they aren't.
2. They wouldn't want to and they couldn't anyway.
3. A crash would be like it was last time, but if any of the companies is leading the way toward one its not MS.
Nintendo is trying to grow the industry.
A: By introducing new demographics.
B: Preventing overall inflation keeping prices low.
C: Because they are an industry player.
Microsoft is trying to kill the industry.
A: By forcing inflation of the market to make it unsustainable.
B: Using money to pull third party developers to the Xbox360 console.
C: So that they end up on PC after the crash.
I just don't want to see my beloved industry go up in flames, all for the wealth of one corporation.
Neither should you. Please stop and consider the following.

[QUOTE="Tony-Harrison"][QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]Lol, look it's a guy that does not remember that Street fighter on Snes was $70 and Donkey Kong on N64 was $80.
I love the MS is teh Debbil threads though so please carry on.

But that was from gamers pockets. Microsoft is paying millions that we cannot afford without Microsoft.
Wait, MS is stealing millions of dollars from me? Or from developers?
What the heck is this thread about?
Microsoft is inflating the industry. Not stealing money.
