Sony seriously needs to step it up.  To keep MGS4 and FF13 exclusive they should just pay for half of the cost for each game.It might sound crazy but comon! This is MGS and FF! Sony needs them bad

1st of all, don't bump a lame topic. 

That is so short-sighted, it's funny. Why pay tens of millions to other companies just to get 1 game in a series exclusive? What would stop Konami from adding/changing X% of MGS4 and releasing it on 360 as MGS5? Better to try to get those whole series as exclusive through cheaper (free) licensing or some other offer. If Sony feels like spending tens of millions, why not develop some new series in-house that Sony would then own outright?  Then ALL the sequals can only come out on Sony systems.

That said, if Sony feels like paying 3rd parties, why not just pay for games that weren't coming to PS3? (some, in the same timeframe) like Bioshock. Pay to get them released on PS3 first, or at least at the same time. The new war isn't over 3rd party exclusives (that model is dying out) it's over whose multiplats are 1st/better. Sony should try to win that war.

I kind of feel the same way. I really enjoyed the ACE COmbat series. What really ticks me off is that it wont be released on the PS3. If it does. Then it should come out before the XBOX version. The PS made that franchise. Show some love.AKAaBeG76

No, without getting too technical, composite carries the video signal over 1 cable/wire; S-Video 2 (in 1 cable) ; component 3 (in 3 seperate cables)

There's more to it than that, but that's the simplified version.

For example: Component is the only one (of those 3) with enough bandwidth/overhead to be used as an HD cable.
