[QUOTE="Tony_aaaa"]You have to remember the developers make the game not sony. The games is coming regardless. Everybody like xbox live, but you mean to tell me you wouldn't like to see something that is decent done for the ps3. If you can have both good games and a good software setup for online fun. Than why not. I must admit everytime I turn my ps3 or 360 system on I don't play a game. I catch up on my demo downloads and fool around with the system for a while. I'm a adult and I work for a living and sometimes being tired from work. I may not be focus enough to get into heavy gameing. So I mess around with consoles to unwind and kill time before bed. SONY made GoW. Sony made Home. I'd prefer they stuck to games. They won with PS1 + 2 because of the games---only because of their games. If they lose sight of that, they lose this generation, it's that simple. IMOI could care less about Home.(Or Miis, or achievements) I bought a PS3 for games......only for games. I'd take a single, good exclusive game over Home any day. I think of the millions they spent (and will spend) on Home, and wonder what kind of game that $$$ could have made.
How many PS3 owners would give up Home--forever, if God of War 3 was released on PS3 today??? I sure would.

BTW Vid looks cool
but now im gonna use the same arguement as most lemms commenting on GT:HD. That vid only shows one car. Lets see how it looks with multiple cars.
and last, why the hell should anyone care about damage? When i race i try not to crash. and if its like Forza 1 you gotta pay to repair damage. so to me its a pointless feature.
despite those above mentioned nit picks the game looks awesome, yet its still to early to decide who'll win. Forza 2 or GT5

Because it adds real feedback to the game, enhances gameplay, you hit an object your car gets damaged, happens in real life, and is fundamental to racing, especially simulation type games. For online play it is absolutely necessary.
Yea but does the VISUAL damage affect how the car drives?(serious question. i dont know.) Axel damage and the like sure do make a difference, but if i crash and bend my front half or lose my spoiler will the aerodynamics change? They did in Forza (1)---Alignment, areodynamics, etc were all modelled in it.
I love Gran Turismo and all but first time I played Forza Motorsport on the Xbox, I was completely sold in my comparison with a 3000GT VR-4 in GT and a 3000GT VR-4 same spec on Forza Motorsport, it was just so damn realistic and didnt have bumper car physics, although im getting a PS3 first, I'll definetly check this out.
Same here, but to be fair, 99%+ of everything shown in forza 2's physics/damage modelling was in forza (1.) Sometimes I wonder if people here played it. Also, did you catch the "other" interview that talkied about changes (simplified!) to car tuning + customization. Forza 2 is a must-buy to me, but I hope we don't get Oblivion'd (dumbed down sequal with pretty graphics)

Agreed, thought LBP was different, but sometimes I think I'm the only PS3 owner that could care less about Home. Glad I own all the systems, but I expected more from a $600 console. When I paid that ($600) for my Neo-Geo, I was more satisfied, EVERY Neo-Geo game destroyed the Snes/Genesis. On my PS3, all I seem to get is bad news, delays, and empty promises.First we got Sony's Home and LBP annoucement. Great news for the Sony Cows  for once.
Then we got the Febuary NPD numbers. Nintendo pretty much put MS and Sony through the wringer on that one! Especially Sony. PS3 is prooving it is way too expensive for the mass market.
....Now we got DMC4 going to the X360! My lord talking about a megaton!
We got three megatons in less than a month! Is there anymore? I mean, what if Nintendo decided to drop a bomb and say SSBB is coming in say MAy? Ohh boy! This board I think will "ASPLODE!!" HEHE!!
Anyone else feel the same?

I could argue that God of War is every bit as mindless a button masher..................Doesn't mean it's not a great game.It being a multiplat doesn't change a thing, the DMC series is just a mindless overrated masher.

Where is Bioshock?Reasons to buy a 360
blue dragon
lost oddysey
mass effect
eternal sonata
unreal 2k7(multiplat but on a 400 system)
halo 3
gta 4
assasins creed
dmc 4
virtua fighter 5
xjet039
i used to be somewhat content but now I'm beginning to regret spending the 600 bucks. Sony is losing my patience they need to churn out some good news and fast.MorisUkunRasikSame here---sort of. I don't regret buying it, but I'm not as happy with it as I am with my other next-gen consoles. Love the (2) games I have for it, wish there were more worth buying NOW (for me.) Also, I don't like the direction they're going with Home, Warhawk, etc. On consoles, I'm more an offline gamer, PCs are for online IMHO.
its funny how when I bought my ps1 I was instantly happy with it as with my ps2 (though I got it 6 months into its life). Well its nearing 6 months with the ps3 and all its got is a pile of bad news. I love sony but they need to announce something HUGE!MorisUkunRasikSame here, with PS1 + 2, I always was happy with my purchase---even after mine broke, I bought replacements without batting an eye. Now, all I have for PS3 is doubt. I hope this changes......soon.
