Why TV Week is Full of...

For those of you unfortunate enough to be readers of TV Week...

In the 5-11th April edition it was stated that they were no plans to release Veronica Mars on DVD in Australia. Here's the EzyDVD page that proves them wrong...

Jen (who has many unkind things to say about TV Week, but will keep them to herself)

IDIOTS! (Sorry, slipped out)

"This is super special awesome!"

*sings* "I'm putting off homework.."

Hi everybody.

*waits*

*no response*

Be that way, then!

How are we all? I've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh (the abridged series) on YouTube. I get YouTube, I like YouTube. However, MySpace still sucks.

So... In episode twenty one they have a reference to Reboot!

"You are signing out of Windows Live Messenger all convesation windows will be closed" But there wasn't any open! WTF?

*Tries to find Reboot reference* Not that I'll know who says it, or anything...

*waits for it to load*

"When I was a young boy, my mother said to me..."

Hey, remember Pete and Pete? I've been watching that as well. I didn't remember the theme song, at first.

Yugi: "It's like walking into an episode of Reboot."

Super special awesome!

IN AMERICA!

I'm probably the only one that remembers Reboot, right? *sigh* I'm so frickin' old.

IN AMERICA!

100th Blog Post. Wanna Be My Friend? (Also; The Quiz That is a Plague)

Man, my counting was off. I think I said 50-something somewhere. I think that's very sad. Look at some of the junk I've watched!

Well, finally, the lyrics of Adelaide by Ben Folds...

Adelaide
On a plane
Far from the united states
Of LA
Dropping in from outer space
Takes a day
Now I see the Bogans
At the motor race
Here you know the world could turn
Or crash and burn
And you would never know it
Going where the air is clear
There̢۪s better beer in Adelaide

Charlie L. Smith's forty
Someone spiked my rice
The rest, history
Now I am a fixture down

Rundle Mall
Watching as the locals pass
Silver balls
I can see their eyes are round
They̢۪re pointed down
They scan the spanning sidewalks
Learning that there is no hurry
Fuss or worry
Adelaide

Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah

Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah

It̢۪s raining
In Adelaide
A face is waiting in a window
A voice says
Why Adelaide
You could live anywhere and I say
Because I want to
Because I want to
I really really want to

And you know the earth could turn
Or crash and burn
And you would never know it
Really got to make it to the finish line
Get the record done on time
Pack the bags
And catch a flight
And you can kiss my ass goodbye
I'm in Adelaide
Adelaide
Adelaide
Adelaide

Glasses Are Weird

Glasses.

What fun.

I have to wear glasses now. I think I'm suppose to wear them all the time, but eh. They feel weird. I have gotten used to them. Why would I want clear and unblurried vision? Who wants that?!

Plus, now I owe my mum, like $300.

*sigh*

99th Blog - woo! Also, sad. That's 99 blogs here and two on MySpace (3 on LiveJournal).

Well, this has been fun, but I have homework to do.

Excuse Me While I TOTALLY FLIP OUT!

It's been a long night. I have some things to say;

One: What the hell is with people complaining about TV shows? No, really, I'm getting more than a little sick of it. Not to name names or anything, but can I just remind you all that it is just a TV show (*cough* sounds a bit weird coming from me, doesn't it?) and you know what, your TV show is on TV which is more than I can say for some of us that are stuck downloading episodes. So, oddly enough I don't care if your show started seven minutes after it was programmed to.

Which has nothing (*shifty eyes*) to do with what I also did last night; took NCIS off my favourite list. Actually, I can't believe it was still there. I think I was using it to get to the forums, but now I'm not on the forums anymore *shrugs*

So, goodbye, NCIS, I think I may have liked you for, like a week once in 2005.

Eh, nobody reads this anymore.

NCIS SUCKS!

*waits for angry responses*

Weird

Wow. Something weird just happened.

I have my music on shuffle, and it played:

New York by Eskimo Joe,

then it played Australia by The Shins,

and THEN it played London Bombs by Eskimo Joe

How weird is that?! The three songs I have with the names of places in their title and Windows Media Player plays them in a row!

Jen

Popcorn

Popcorn; doesn't it make you sick?

And it's everywhere.

EVERYWHERE!

Lay off the popcorn, people.

I've Just Killed Pam or Jim

So, I just realised that my new ship is Jim and Pam (Jam, sounds a bit like Sam and Jack, remember Sack Jam?)

And whenever I have a ship one of them ends up dying.

Oh, God, I just killed Pam or Jim.

"So Cute It Makes Me Want to Cry"

Hey Everyone

I'm back online (at home). Whoo.

And with a new favourite TV show...

The Office

The American one.

I KNOW, I know.

I *so* wanted to like the English one better.

I do like the English one, but the American one has Pam and Jim.

And they are *points to title* so cute it makes me want to cry. I don't think there's any way they could be cuter. *Sigh*

Well, see ya,

Jen

We Win! (Record Broken)

Adelaide set an unenviable national record today when it recorded the longest-lasting heatwave - 11 days - of any Australian capital city.

The record for the longest number of days reaching 35 degrees Celsius was broken when the city's temperature reached 35.1C at 10:30am CDT.

Mika Peace from the weather bureau says Adelaide has now had 11 straight days of sweltering conditions.

"The record previously was held by Perth where there were 10 days over 35 degrees back in February 1988," she said.

"Today we've had 11th day over 35 degrees in Adelaide and we are forecasting at this stage for temperatures to stay over 35 until Tuesday next week, which in total would give us 16 days in a row."

Yay for global warming! Man, it's hot here. Well, not here, here. The library actually very nice and cold, but outside it's... hot.
